My Roommate Teaches Me

   (3 reviews)
Genres: General Fiction,

Domenico Martini is entering high school at a boarding school, necessary due to circumstances from earlier that summer. He learns a lot about school subjects, life, himself, and a whole lot more. He'd always liked boys more than girls, but never had a chance to do anything about it - maybe not totally gay, and he wouldn't be sure if you asked him about it, until arriving at the school, that is.

This story originally appeared elsewhere. It has been updated to make the characters meet GA's guidelines. Additional enhancements may appear as I go through revamping it.

Domenico Martini (not Dom or Dominic) is a boy whose life has been turned upside down by a recent tragedy and the indifference of those to whom his care was designated. Small of stature and somewhat timid, he is placed in an environment which initially fills him with fear, but from this environment emerges a stronger, happier and more outgoing boy.

Buoyed by new friendships, the boy who was frightened of his own shadow, Domenico overcomes some challenging and some hurtful events, emerging triumphant and self-assured.

A wonderful story of friendship and the joy and contentment it can bring, from the pen of the prolific @Lee Wilson

Response from the author:

Thanks. As always, I am somewhat surprised when my stories are so well received. Perhaps because I started doing this so late in life. Regardless, I appreciate the feedback.

This story sucks .....That's why I gave it five stars LOL. As @Lee Wilson said to @chris191070 accurate review I not afraid to say his story sucks if it is a stinker but this story is definitley not. I'll never have to worry about it though because  @Lee Wilson doesn't write stinkers

Response from the author:

I remember one chapter that qualified as a stinker. Something about being rocked?

This is the amazing story of DM (Domenico Martini)

He finds himself joining a boarding school, due to circumstances that occurred over the summer.

We follow DM has he learns many things at school, subjects, friendship, he discovers his sexuality and much more. Some hard hitting topics are dealt with, during the story.

You need to give this a read to learn more about DM and his time at school.

Response from the author:

Thanks. I can always rely on you for a good review. Hopefully when I post a stinker, you'll be honest and say it sucks, hehe.
