So I'm basically a trashcan with feelings from nyc. I've been writing for a good chunk of my life and I plan to do it professionally (lol just get paid for doing shit I love) one day. I hope you guys like my work that I'll probably be posting on a horrible/nonexistent schedule but please bear with me!! <3

I wrote some poetry a few years ago. Writing a little piece of fiction at the moment.

Kris Faatz (rhymes with skates) is a pianist, writer, and teacher. Her debut novel TO LOVE A STRANGER was a finalist for the 2016 Schaffner Press Music in Literature Award. Her short fiction has appeared in journals including Kenyon Review, Reed, and Glassworks. Kris holds Bachelor’s degrees in music and engineering from Swarthmore College and a Master of Music from the Peabody Conservatory. When not at work, she can often be found reading or exploring the outdoors.
