Another Ordinary Guy - 12. Chapter 12

Bill met Sven and Brett at a small neighborhood restaurant. The cuisine was Hungarian, and Bill had no idea what to expect. The restaurant was very popular and accordingly, it was very crowded. Bill checked a suitcase with the cloak room girl. He was going to be staying with Sven and Brett during their school break, and he would be going home with them after dinner.

Brett and Sven were there when he arrived, and when the waiter showed him to their table, he was disappointed not to see his “date.” The three men just shook hands, since they were in a very crowded public place.

Brett could see the look of confusion on Bill’s face. “Teddy just called,” Brett said. “He got stuck at the office, but he should be here in less than fifteen minutes. Trust me Bill. He’s worth the wait. In the meantime guys, how about a drink?”

The drinks were served, and the three men raised their glasses just as Bill heard a sound that was music to his ears, a genuine southern drawl. “Hi y’all. So sorry to be late.” Bill looked up to see a grinning face. His hair was red, and his eyes, which sparkled, were blue. He had a little boy’s pug nose, and was small in stature. He could not be more than five feet, seven or eight inches tall, and rather thin. Bill was six feet, two and a half inches tall. Bill figured that Teddy was about twenty-eight, to his twenty-four.

Brett motioned for Teddy to be seated at the empty chair. He smiled at Bill and said, “Hi, you must be Billy. I’m Teddy, Theodore Simms.”

Bill shook his hand. He was amazed at how strong a grip this little guy had. “Pleased to meet ya Teddy, but nobody calls me Billy. I’m Bill, if ya don’t mind.”

“As you wish, Bill.” The moment was a little awkward, but fortunately the waiter came over to take a drink order from Teddy. He ordered a scotch and soda. “Where ya from, Bill?”

“We own a farm just west of Tallahassee. How about you?”

“Atlanna. I couldn’t wait to get out of there and to New York. It’s easier for a gay man to exist here than in the south, don’t you think?”

Bill had never thought about it. He had been living as a straight man until just a few days ago. He hadn’t had time to experience any discrimination. So far it had been all fun and sex games. “Yeah,” he mumbled. He wasn’t as comfortable with Teddy, as he was with Brett and Sven. He didn’t think the matchmaking was going well. He decided not to jump to conclusions, and give Teddy a chance.

Bill studied the menu and said, “I gotta confess; I don’t know what any of this stuff is.”

“Do you mind if I order for you?” Brett asked.

“Please do.”

Brett ordered corn chowder, and wiener schnitzel with spaetzel, for himself and Bill. After everyone had ordered, the waiter brought potato pancakes with apple sauce for everyone at the table, and complimentary bowls of red cabbage and creamed spinach. When Bill observed his entree he laughed and said, “Hell, it’s nothin’ but a breaded veal cutlet. I expected somethin’ more exotic.”

“Did you say erotic?” Teddy quipped. “That’ll come later. Bill blushed as his cheeks turned a deep crimson. Things were going better all of a sudden. He wanted to retort to Teddy with something clever, but he was tongue tied. Suddenly, the tense atmosphere gave way to camaraderie, and everyone was having a good time. They had apple strudel for dessert with coffee.

Brett paid the check. He and Sven insisted on paying. “Let’s go back to our place,” Sven said. “We can take off our shoes and be ourselves there.”

Bill had a suspicion that Sven meant something more than what it sounded like when he said, “be ourselves.” It made him a bit nervous and he wondered why. He was no longer a virgin, far from it.

It was almost noon, when Ricky and Joey were awakened by a knock on the door.

“Who is it?” Ricky asked groggily.

“It’s Nick and Scotty. Open up. It’s getting late.”

Joey was shocked that Ricky went to open the door completely naked, but then he remembered that Ricky had made it with two of his dancers. These must be them. At any rate, two good looking guys entered quickly, and Ricky closed the door as fast as he could. All that either of them was wearing was a pair of gym shorts. They were barefooted, and from the looks of things, they were not wearing underwear either.

Nick jumped right into bed with the very naked Joey, and grabbed his package. Joey was speechless.

“Not now, guys,” Ricky said. “Another time. We’re done out. We’ve been going at it since Joey arrived.”

“Let’s order room service, and eat breakfast or lunch or whatever, right here,” Scott suggested. “Then we don’t have to get dressed. I mean dressed up. Shit, you know what I mean.”

A crazy thought occurred to Joey. He wondered if Sven, Brett and Bill were eating together, and was there a fourth for Bill. He couldn’t imagine why that should occur to him. It was just a wild thought, right out of the blue.

Ricky and Joey excused themselves to use the bath room and brush their teeth. While Ricky was peeing, Joey remembered about Randy. Seeing Ricky and making love to him, had wiped it right out of his mind. He told Ricky what had happened.

“He got what he deserved. He was a murderer, but I feel sorry for his parents. I’ll send flowers or something to them,” Ricky said, and the matter was never spoken of again. It was like Randy had never existed.

In Sven and Brett’s apartment, the men had indeed kicked off their shoes, and ditched their jackets and ties. They sat around the ottoman in the living room, drinking scotch and sodas, and munching cheese and crackers. The liquor was really loosening them up, especially Bill, who drank very little.

Whether it was by instinct or design, nobody could say, but Sven and Brett started smooching. The groped for each other’s packages and obliged their partners by taking their cocks out of their pants. Suddenly Brett remembered that they had guests. He took Sven by the hand and they both stood up with their cocks dangling out of their flies.

“Sorry guys. We are going to our parents’ bedroom. We set you up in our bedroom, Bill, so you two are free to do what comes naturally or not, but if you do, there are condoms and lube in the night stand. G’night.” And they were out of there.

“I gotta admit, those two got me going,” Teddy said. “Look!” He pointed at his very erect, uncut cock (Bill paid attention to such matters now) which he had also removed from his pants.

“That’s a mahty purty saht,” Bill exaggerated his southern drawl.

“Would ya lak a bettah look?”

“Uh huh.” They literally ran into the bedroom, dropping clothes along the way.

Teddy was a nice six inches hard, but when he saw Bill’s eight, fat inches, he started to laugh. “I see you’re gonna be a challenge, but my ass is up to it.” There was no hint of a phony southern accent now, just the real stuff.

They warmed each other up with a lusty game of sixty-nine, and then they prepared Bill to fuck Teddy. Well sheathed and well lubricated, Bill could not believe how easily he entered his new friend.

“I’ve had lots of experience,” Teddy said.

Bill sighed. Ted was a perfect fit for his fat cock, and he began to stroke slowly. Teddy was on his back and Bill leaned forward to kiss him while he fucked him. After an initial kiss, Bill put his lips to Teddy’s ear and whispered, “You can call me Billy if you like, but if any of your friends do, they are gonna meet Jesus.”

The only people at Randy’s funeral were his parents, Mama and Papa Alberto, and their two daughters. Not one of Randy’s friends showed up.

Randy’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lopez, had trouble looking at the Alberto family, but after the graveside service, the four of them went over to offer their condolences. “Thank you,” Mrs. Lopez offered. “We got a beautiful bunch of flowers from Ricky. Please thank him for us.”

“Sure,” Papa said. “He’s in Argentina right now, or I’m sure he would have been here.”

Those were the only words, and the last words, they spoke to each other. Shortly after the funeral, the Lopezes sold their house and moved to the west coast of Florida.

The morning light woke Bill and Teddy.

“Shit,” Teddy said. It’s a good thing the boss is on vacation. I’m gonna be very late to work. I gotta go home, shower and dress fresh.” He leaned over and kissed Bill lightly on the lips.

“Sorry, I didn’t brush my teeth.”

“It’s understandable.”

“Will we see each other again, Billy.”

“Bill melted at the way Teddy said, Billy.”

“I’d like that. I’d like that a lot.”

After he dressed, Teddy gave Bill two calling cards. “One’s my business address and the other’s my home address. It would be great, if you’re free, if you picked me up at the office at five this afternoon. Brett and Sven are not scheduled to come in to the office today, and I think I’d like to spend the evening alone with you. You’re welcome to move to my place until school resumes, that is, if you’d like to.”

“I’d like that a lot.”

Teddy smiled, and ignoring the fact that he might have morning breath, he gave Bill another kiss. Bill lay there in bed in pure contentment. Eventually he dozed off. He had a dream.

In his dream, he was a wealthy New York attorney and Teddy was a wealthy financial advisor. They lived together in an upscale condo on the upper east side of Manhattan. He and Teddy were busy preparing their apartment for a party. There was a big cake in the middle of the dining room table. The guests started to arrive. The first to arrive were Teddy’s bosses, John and Arn and his colleagues, Sven and Brett. Then Larry and Red arrived, followed by Ricky and Joey. When everybody was assembled, he and Teddy blew out a single candle on the cake. Now Bill could see the inscription on the cake: Happy Anniversary: Fifty Years. That seemed strange to Bill, because everyone in the dream looked exactly as they looked today. Nobody was a day older.

He heard pots and pans banging in the kitchen and he suddenly realized it was not happening in his dream. His hosts were up and puttering in the kitchen. He put on his boxer shorts and went to investigate. He found Sven and Brett in the kitchen preparing breakfast. They were both naked.

“Did you have fun last night?” Bill asked.

“We always do,” Brett answered. “The more important question is did you have fun, and where’s Teddy?”

“I had a ball, and Teddy’s gone home to put on fresh clothes for work. We have a date tonight, and he asked me to move into his apartment until school begins. I’m thinking that it would be cheaper for me to stay with him and pay him rent than to pay the dorm fees, but I guess that’s a little premature. I’ll have to discuss it with him.”

“I told you that you two would hit it off big time,” Brett gloated. “Is there anything that you two guys would like to do special today, until Bill goes on his date?”

“There’s a tradition in New York that I’ve heard about,” Bill said, “but I haven’t done it yet. I’d really like to.”

“What’s that?”

“I’d like to go ice skating in the Rockefeller Center rink.”

“What a fantastic idea,” Sven said. “I haven’t gone ice skating since I left Sweden. I didn’t think anyone from Florida skated.

“I don’t, but it’s something I always wanted to try.”

“Me too,” Brett said, rather reluctantly.

Sven and Brett got it on, and Bill and Teddy got it on, but did Joey and Ricky get it on with the dancers? You never did finish what was going on in that hotel room. I'm not surprised that so few turned out for Randy's funeral but it must have hurt his parents and I think it's a shame they felt so embarrassed by their son's actions that they sold up and left New York, they are not responsible for his actions and should not feel the need to move away.

Ricky and Joey were to tired for the dancers, after there fun the night before.
