This is my second time around reading the first two parts of Rhino and Mouse, and I don't know what to say. It's such an amazing story, sad and funny at the same time. Jesse is almost annoying, but he's also heartbreakingly sweet and vulnerable.

Dom may be called simple but it's actually in a very good way. He's so honest and clean and caring that I'm just speechless. I loved the way he refused to do anything with Jesse when he was high, and yet he never denied him comfort or love. But Dom has firm principles and I respect that utterly. Also the way he always tries to do right by Jesse and never gives up on him. The part where he almost moved out was gutwrenching.

So keep writing, you have a special style which I admire - even if at times it is hard to keep up with who says what. Oh and I suck at writing dialogue, so I'm totally in awe of an author who can tell most of the story via dialogue.
