How The Light Gets In

There are currently no reviews.
Sub-genres: Drama, General Romance

Time, it is said, heals all wounds. The single, deep ones. The thousand cuts. But sometimes, sometimes, the scars left behind are just as debilitating. Can two wounded young men find the path that reaches out beyond their own scars to find each other?

This story is for Evan, with much love and more hope.

The birds they sang at the break of day
Start again I heard them say
Don’t dwell on what has passed away
Or what is yet to be….

Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack in everything
That’s how the light gets in.

  1. Well it's been over a year since the last comment on Chapter 20. A year and a half since the last story update, and 4 years since the story started. Will we ever get to see the end of the story or is this the end. Sort of like when a tv show gets canceled you don't get to see things resolved it just goes off the air. Hopefully this story will be able to be finished. Even if the author can't finish it maybe he can pass it on to someone else to try and finish it.

Even unfinished this story should be carved in stone it's so beautiful, it prequel as well shares the same simple grace. Really stunning work, thank you. Gratitude expressed if this story happened to finally find it's way to complete that would be awesome too :P.

Its a pity this story will never be finished. After 7 years I think its dead. Such a shame. Beautiful writing. Descriptive without a large amount of words.

Such a shame ☹️

I'd love to see this story come to a natural conclusion, it's too good not to be completed. If it's not possible for @Duncan Ryder to complete the story is there anyway that one of our more accomplished authors could do this? It would need to be an author of high standards as it would need to be someone who would compliment the original authors style and not detract from it.
