Mixed Emotions - 4. Last step for You

strong>An emotion from a Wrecking Heart, ultimately gonna find solace…

I have waited for so long,
so long to reach your soul.
It hurts as I was going along,
lack of love, that makes me un-control.

It takes just one go off the cliff,
following you is my only pep.
I can feel, on my neck, a warm sniff;
to bond with you, I took the last step.

strong>Thank you all for Reading… :)

Chilling and vivid. I particularly like the breath on the neck. I can feel it, and through it, the desperation of the poet.
Wonderful poem.

A very sad and powerful poem, Emi.

Waiting for so long to finally take the ultimate step off that proverbial cliff.

Where did the happiness from the last few poems go?

After the last three, this one suddenly seems so ominous and melancholy. What happened?

It always won't happen like happy endings my friend. Emotions will change according to situation. Mixed emotions also involve misery and pain...

Wow, powerful, the last step...just wow Emi

Thanks man. It was an emotional poem which involves someone's pain about their life. Crossing the line, taking the last step looks as a solution. And it not a desire but necessary to end the pain...

As I said earlier, emotions cross their line and happiness will result in pain and misery. Thanks for the review Lisa... :)
