The Poetry of D/s - 5. clay

clay

In this room i am silent, i am clay

Yours to mold, to bend, and bind

i watch You with accepting eyes

Willing victim, Your lover, Your boy

You work expecting only silence

No groans or ragged breath

Ropes cinched to pleasing tightness

Muscles taut, eyes open, i drift away

i do not have to be afraid

To You i cede completely

My trust in You is absolute

For i know You will not break me

And afterwards as i lay quiet

Your voice first breaks the silence

Whispers saying i've pleased You

The only reward i need

        *****

You and me, Sir thank You xo

you've described a very special moment, tim... a sculptor, shaping his clay; an artist, connecting with his muse... nicely done, boy.

your words transport me to different times and places each time i read through it

in the final stanza i can feel muscles still slightly strained

and the quiet smile of peace

again, and every time, thank you for sharing your gift with us

For me, it is the final stanza that connects with me the most. The sculptor is pleased; this is what matters, what fulfills.

Thank you Parker. I appreciate you reading and your comments. It is very much about fulfillment.

Your peace brings me peace. I could feel it with every word I read...

Nicely done, tim :)

I love that, and maybe because of the sculptor metaphor, I can almost feel this poem. Make sense?

Well done, tim.

I am having trouble putting my feelings into words. I don't understand D/s on an emotional level, but this poem really appeals to me. Maybe it is the sculptor metaphor like Defiance19 said. Anyway, thank you.

thank you, JeffreyL. emotion plays a huge part to me, but there is so much more that enters into it. D/s is not bullies and odd people, many of us are bright and intelligent, we love deeply and care very much about each other.  even the few of us here, we mean a lot to each other.  i appreciate you reading these ... there are more scattered through my work, and a recent one that Macgreg and i wrote together.  thank you again. xo
