A professional woman in a dangerous job, and now she has herself in a very difficult situation and all she could think of doing, was to head for her uncle's home in Lincolnshire, to see if he can help her decide what to do.

Knowing that if she reported to her employers that she is pregnant, she would be forced to terminate her pregnancy, for the good of her job and her country, she asks her Uncle Charles to come up with a better solution, which arrives in the form of distant cousins who are staying with Charles, while on holidays from Western Australia.

Although this is a fiction story, the places are real, and the current Earl of Portland is Australian.

We follow him as he learns about his family, wealth and businesses. We watch as he build's his business empire. We meet a few familiar faces along the way.

A fantastic story, well worth reading.
