Songs in T-Minor - 5. Euphoria

lately, i look in the mirror

and i don’t see her anymore

she’s been haunting my shadow

for so long

i no longer look at my face

and think, look, there’s a girl

i no longer feel like i’m lying

when i go out the door

and i don’t know what happened

nothing really changed

i haven’t done anything different

but somewhere along the way

i stopped seeing her

and now

i just see me

Thank you for reading.

Thorn it is so good to be happy with that face in the mirror. To many of use don’t like what we see or feel. I so glad that you see your true self and if I was close by I would give you a hug just to let you know I care. So hold your head up high and keep on your pathway.

And now I just see me. That’s a perfect final line; not everyone can say that. Not feeling the truth drain out of the day as one walks out the door must be a fantastic sensation. This is beautiful.

Thanks, rick. I've a ways to go yet, but I'm getting there. And yeah, it's good. :)
