Feelings I Don't Know How to Say Otherwise. - 10. Bad Milk.
I threw out milk today. I haven’t had to do that for a long time. I like to bake, you see, and sometimes, I need milk. But, at the same time, I’m lactose intolerant. So you see my conundrum now.
I hadn’t realised that he’d begun to drink the milk I couldn’t manage to use in time. I hadn’t realised that he won’t be here to drink the milk anymore.
It expired today, the milk. We expired three weeks ago.
