A Poem that I created after the tragedy that befell my home, Boston

I had a funny poem prepared, but I won't use it.

For me, this is a description of a soldier's thoughts and reactions when in the heat of battle.  Very powerful!

Response from the author:

Thanks Bill,

This is one of my few forays into poetry, and I wrote right after the Boston Marathon bombing in 2013, so it has a lot of raw emotions and visceral language.

I hope one day GA will compile these disparate pieces of reaction writing together at some point, so future readers can gain a glimpse in time at what we experienced.
