Young Adam, aka Simon, aka J.J. grew up in Southern Indiana, the victim of sexual abuse for as long as he could remember. The one thing he had going for himself was his intelligence, which allowed him to master advanced college-level material online. On his 13th birthday, however, his father left him no choice but to fight back the only way he could. Forced to run away, he began an amazing journey that would lead him to the highest corporate echelons, and more importantly, to love.

Legacy deals with the aftermath of the assassination of the first openly gay president of the United States. Was he killed because he was gay, or was it something far more sinister? Although based on the Naptown Tales series, Legacy stands on its own. Legacy takes place approximately 33 years in the future, however, many of the chapters will contain flashbacks to the intervening years. There are a number of twists and turns, and the ending will almost certainly be a surprise.

For ten years Christopher Michaels had been doing research on sending information back in time. On the eve of September 11, 2001, he was forced to come out to his wife and son, but that paled in comparison to the dream he had that night. At first he laughed it off, but what if the dream was real? Little did he know when he contacted his boss that history would change. Not only would the Russians, Chinese and terrorists stop at nothing to get their hands on Chris and his time tunnel technology, but the very fabric of time itself would start to unravel.

A series of coming of age stories based in Indiana, the Crossroads of America. Controversy is the rule as the series explores topics such as abuse, homelessness, pedophilia, three-way relationships, aging out of foster care and gay teens dealing with a disability.

Aaron and Brian are two high school students who fall madly in love. Their love grows and they slowly experience everything until one fateful night when an accident leaves one of them unscathed and the other with a disability. Forced to deal with feelings of guilt and inadequacy, and even thoughts of suicide, they persevere as they face new sexual frustrations and struggle with life's challenges.

David and Jeremy experience the chance of a lifetime, interning at the White House, while Trevor and Kurt serve as Pages in the Senate, but scandal follows close behind. Leave it to Brad to save the day. (May - August, 2009)

A Summer in Iowa is based on two key times in the author's life. In 1968, the author turned 12 and began junior high. It was a tumultuous time in which protests rocked America and MLK and RFK were assassinated. Fast forward to 1972, when the author turned 16 and was in high school. The author experienced his first time on his own while attending a summer science program at the University of Iowa. Although the romantic aspects of the story are fictional, much of the rest of the story is based on real events. A Summer in Iowa also serves as a prequel to the modern-day story in the author's New York Stories series, Reminiscing About the Future.

Following graduation and a double wedding, joined by their younger brothers, the newlyweds honeymoon in Europe. Upon their return, the younger teens start high school, but then tragedy strikes, bringing all Naptown Tales characters home for a final farewell. (June - August, 2010)

The impact of the Hamas attack of October 7, 2023 was felt around the world, but in few places more than in New York City. Not only is New York home to the second-largest Jewish population in the world, but it’s home to peoples of many cultures, including a large Arab American population. In my New York Stories, New York Holidays and New York Anthologies series, I’ve introduced characters who might well have been in Israel at the time of the attack. October Fire is a 6-part story about Jewish and Palestinian New Yorkers who persevered in the face of hate.
