    Stephen McLeod, an early Computer Science Geek passes from High School to University in the 1980s, during an hysterical, venomous and lengthy battle to reform New Zealand's archaic laws against male homosexuality.

    Paradoxically, the political battle makes it both easier and harder for a young man to come out and make his way in gay society that is finally emerging from the shadows.
