Writing Prompts.... Oopsie

Well... as the title of this blog says, OOPSIE!  I didn't realize that I was out of prompts, so didn't send to @comicfan to get new ones!  Since I forgot, I decided to go through and pick a few recent ones that showed zero responses in the forum.

So there you go!  Hopefully I'll have some new prompts for you next week!

Good thing these were recycled! I was reminded of an idea I had a while back for #643 but which I promptly  (ehum) forgot. Now I just need to find time to write it...

Oopsie Mk2 I'm afraid  as I did write a story in response to Prompt 645 - and mentioned it on the thread.

Hi Ivor, I think the point is if you don't 'reply' to the appropriate topic showing you've used the prompt, then nobody really knows. That's one of the main reasons why the prompts are posted as topics. I don't post there every week but I certainly do once a fortnight.  :)

Afraid I'm lost Northie. I thought the place to indicate I'd used the prompt was on the thread that drew it to my attention. I wasn't aware there was anywhere else

If you look at the list of topics above, they're all 'live'. Click on the prompt that you responded to and it will take you to the topic. Reply to the topic, include the link to your story, and there you are. Of course, respond to the blog as well, but replying to the prompt's topic is a more permanent way of showing that you've written something.  :)

Thanks. Must confess I wasn't aware there was a Writing Prompts thread. I've only ever come across them in the blog.

Bit late now as far as that one is concerned....
