College Week 4

Howdy y'all! Time for another College Week!

PHYS 2425: This week, my teacher taught us about forces, specifically friction. However, this was also the week that my class had our first exam. And well... I got a C. :,( To be honest, I'm one of the lucky ones, half my class actually failed it.

MATH 2414: But not everything is doom and gloom. Where last week we learned how to differentiate inverse trigonometric functions, this week, we learned how to integrate them. Again... super fun! :D SPCH 1321: In Speech, I gave my second speech, and I got an A on it!

ENGR 1201: In Engineering, we got assigned reading for the weekend. Woohoo. In all seriousness though, it's only 35 pages, so it ain't a big deal, lol.

Anyways, I have a question for y'all, have you ever done poorly on an exam?

Well, that's it for this week!

  I've done poorly on more than one, but still graduated with honors and high honors with both my degrees :) It's fine as long as you understand the material.

Yes.  I had insomnia prior to a big Kinesiology exam that I probably should have studied a little bit more for.  I bombed it hard and it fucked up my grade in the class, but I still managed to pass.

Oh yeah. However, earning a passing grade when many failed is an accomplishment. That scenario suggests to me that some of the fault lay with the instructor. He should be wondering why the class as a whole performed at a poor level.

Bet you ace friction.

Some exams I've only just managed a pass, but since they were on topics I had no interest in and very little ability to understand I was OK with low grades. Favorite topics usually went well, but I was always a little nervous.
