Old Southern Church ladies have a well-deserved reputation for being persnickety about damn near everything.

If you are ever fortunate enough to taste their cooking, you'll forgive them.

@JamesSavik -- that looks like the dinner at church after my cousin's wife died -- except that there was another row of tables with food!  Just on his father's side there were almost 50 of us,  and probably about thirty on his wife's side of the family.
