Alan 0 Posted July 1, 2006 When the New South Wales state parliament was debating subsidies for the Sydney Gay Games an idiot MP from a rural district demanded to know what sports would be played and claimed leapfrog was the only possibility.
dkstories 17,544 Posted July 1, 2006 Dom, I have a t-shirt I can let you borrow next time you have a family get-together. It's real nice black with some nice lettering that says: So Many Right-Wing Christians So Few Lions
JamesSavik 24,837 Posted July 1, 2006 I'm old enough to remember when a butthead wasn't a cartoon character. This guy obviously hasn't met the right homosexual yet. He's going to let slip that unnatural crap and someone is either going to kick his ass very loudly or screw him over very quietly. Either way, the response is perfectly natural.
BoyNeedsTherapy 1 Posted July 1, 2006 ...but surely leapfrog misses the point entirely I mean...leapfrog is over not into...
NickolasJames8 807 Posted July 1, 2006 So wait...... This guy is a total homophobe and he came to your house to start trouble with you, and he's mad at you??? You must be even nicer than I thought, because I would've told him where to go.
Empathy 29 Posted July 2, 2006 well I must say you dealt with it better than I would have. I would have lost my cool I know it.
DomLuka 7,528 Posted July 2, 2006 No sense in getting arrested over him. Really wish I could unmeet him, though. Ah, well. Thanks for letting me vent. Sometimes it helps when people agree that a jackass is a jackass.
Guest Kitty Posted July 2, 2006 This guy wears a T-shirt depicting gay sex? I wonder why. (That's a rhetorical question. I've actually got a pretty good idea what the answer is, and it has to do with what Lucy said in the last paragraph of her comment.)

Yeah, but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for the climactic conversion moment when he understands himself and reforms. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't.
glomph 8 Posted July 2, 2006 If he didn't have occasion to be a homophobic jackass, he would just find something else to be a jackass about. Even if you don't have somebody like that in your own family, somebody for sure will marry into a family with one. You're lucky if your relative doesn't marry that person rather than just someone related to them, even luckier if the relationship is distant enough that you don't have to see the person ever again after the wedding.
Narcidius 2 Posted July 2, 2006 "What? Does that mean you already have a boyfriend?" Hahahaha that is awesome. I love it.
