we're having a baby!

In 1 to 10 days...

We decided to adopt a kitten from the pound for the low, low price of $112 and she is SO pretty! Rambunctious little girl, grey and black tabby. When I went to pay for her, the woman at the window says, "She'll be ready in 1 to 10 days, 10 being the longest." Thanks for the clarification there ma'am. So, now, we are in the process of naming her... and much to my daughter's dismay, she won't be called Princess, Chloe, Sammy, Ginger, Rosie, or any of the other million names she has suggested in the last 24 hours.

In other news, Rich starts his new job tomorrow! :2thumbs: He called me on Friday while he was out to lunch to tell me that he just told the guy in the Togo's he always goes to, that it was his last day at that job so he probably wouldn't be back and that he thought it was SO COOL to be able to tell the guy when he asked him what he does, to say, "I'm an ice sculptor!" :P

And I bought my darlin's  birthday present and since his birthday is in 7 more days I hope it makes it to Scotland in time! :o

AND!!! Steve's site is officially up and looking fabulous! Can you believe he did all that work himself?! Anyway, check it out, read some... he's really fantastic! http://shadowgod.gayauthors.org/

AND!!!!! Chapter 25 of From Behind Those Eyes is finished!

Just as soon as our fearless leader gets home from his road trip, it's all yours! :D Now onto the summer anthology...

Happy Birthday Luc!!

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Hugs,

Viv

Wonderful news all 'round!!! :2thumbs:

I must say I'm a little surprised, though, that it costs $112 to adopt a kitten from the pound.

I'd always assumed that animals from the pound are free? I take exception to charging money at the pound, as I'd think it would deter many potential adoptors.
