Counting Carbs

TalonRider

It's been awhile since my last blog entry. I had an interesting email today from BD. I get a newsletter from them periodically. I sometimes will post some of the articles at my site The Talon House.

How good are your carb counting skills?

Take this quiz and find out... more>

I took this quiz to see how well I'd do since I count carbs as part of my daily treatment.

Breakfast: 1/4

Lunch 4/4

Dinner 2/4

Try you luck and see how well you do and post your results.

Hey Jan,

That was neat :great:

I got 3/4 on Breakfast

I got 4/4 on Lunch

I got 2/4 on Dinner

Usually I'm not to bad, but then again when you have medication to take each time you eat it makes guessing a little more dangerous.

Thanks,

1/4 Breakfast

3/5 Lunch

0/4 Dinner

So, I'm thinking maybe I'll just make lunch three times a day and feed Jan the same stuff. I need to keep my boyfriend to be (prayer.gif) healthy. I already know I can keep him happy. evil-smirk.gif

Just feed him steaks and shrimp for lunch and dinner, and steak and eggs for breakfast everyday. No carbs, no problems :)

Thanks for the food tips Nick. How about Jan and I adopt you, take great care of you as our son, and you can show your appreciation by cooking for the three of us? Actually it'll be four at the end of this year when the foster child I was supposed to adopt turns 18 and gets kicked out of the system. I promised him a college education plus room and board until he can get established on his own.

I don't mind cooking for you guys just as long as you don't mind suffering from chronic food poisoning from my cooking :) Oh yeah, and you have to be good at fighting fires too.

As long as there's a potato with that steak, I'm good to go.

Nick's already been adopted, he just doesn't know it.

And Gary, have you checked your email lately?
