reapersharvest
Absolutely I think that might have been too easy) Have at it, give us a quote. Link to comment
Lor83b
Here it is: In the end, we're all dead men. Sadly, we cannot choose how or when. But what we can choose is how we decide to meet that end, so we are remembered forever as men. Link to comment
Umbathri
Hello, youll never sneak a Gladiator quote past me =) I was invited to a very early pre-screening to that movie cause I was part of a Roman war reinactment group, but thats another story. In fact a story Ive been working on most of today, intrestingly enough. Ill come up with another quote in a little bit ~Umbathri :2hands: Link to comment
Umbathri
Ill keep on with posting 2 quotes I guess, noone else is though =P 1.. "You found your way back here for the same reason I did. We belong here, theres noplace else on earth would take us in." 2.. "Im 106 years old and I still make my own bread. Ive been living right here in Hemingford Home, Nebraska all my life. You come see me Nick, you and all your friends." 2 is prolly too easy, but I dare anyone to get 1. theres also one I posted a while ago noone got yet. ~Umbathri Link to comment
Lor83b
The 1st quote is Nightbreed; I love Craig Sheffer. And you're right the 2nd quote is easy it's Stephen King's The Stand. 2 .."Teach me to love? Go teach thyself more wit. I, chief professor, am of it. The god of love, if such a thing there be, may learn to love from me." The answer to this quote is Dead Poet's Society ; too easy. Edited March 5, 2005 by Lor83b Link to comment

Lor83b
Here you go: 1. "I think adults are just children who owe money." 2. "The world is made for people who aren't cursed with self awareness." Link to comment
Umbathri
Here you go: 1. "I think adults are just children who owe money." 2. "The world is made for people who aren't cursed with self awareness." <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 1 tickles my memory but i cant place it 2 would be Bull Durham Link to comment
Lor83b
Right about #2 being Bull Durham. Keep trying with #1. Your turn give us your quotes! Link to comment

Umbathri
si i hope this doesnt turn into a 2 man war, someone else can get some right? =P Link to comment
Patrickgay17
I'm 18 I don't even know any of these movies. Link to comment
Lor83b
I wave my turn, to give others a chance. Maybe there should be a limit on the year of the movie that is being quoted, like nothing later than the 1970's. Link to comment
Umbathri
I expected The Quite Man to be that harder of the 2 quotes... yes it was from 1952. I never planed to make it a habit to quote ancient movies =) but this one had special meaning for me. Nothing like a quite St. Pattys day, dozen or so friends drinking, with home made cornd beef and cabbage, just sit back and watch The Quite Man. Havent done it in several years, but its a fun time. 70's+ sounds fine to me. someone toss a couple mroe out there. Link to comment
Lor83b
This is it for me until others have a chance: Quote 1 "He vanished like a fart in the wind" Quote 2 "You can never buy silence, you can only rent it" #1 is a give away Good Luck Edited March 7, 2005 by Lor83b Link to comment
Patrickgay17
fart with the wind Link to comment
Umbathri
fart with the wind <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ya prison movies can do that to you... for one thing and it doesnt take a detective movie to figure out the second thing ~Umbathri the mask will remain silent for now Link to comment
Umbathri
This is it for me until others have a chance: Quote 1 "He vanished like a fart in the wind" Quote 2 "You can never buy silence, you can only rent it" #1 is a give away Good Luck <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ok ok, I cant remember what #1 is atm, so maybe your statement about it being a give away is not that redeeming? 2 is none other then Zero Effect maybe the others are too busy with the problems of the world to play? ~Umbathri Link to comment
Lor83b
Ya prison movies (hint) can do that to you... for one thing <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You gave yourself your own hint! And your right it doesn't look like anyone else is playing. But I'm game if you are, it could just be a 2 person game until others start to play. Essentially it's your turn!!
