rec Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 Sitting on my bathroom counter is Twyla Tharp's book The Creative Habit. Twyla Tharp, the choreographer, writes engagingly about moving from creativity to output, whether in writing, dance, theater, business. Run, don't walk, to your nearest bookstore, library, Amazon.com, PowellBooks.com or whatever site and get the book. It is truly a fine reference for GA writers.
corvus Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 This sounds really interesting, but I'm worming my way through a few books now, so... eh. But it's great to read what great artists have to say on how they themselves go about doing their work. It can be very inspiring, and very humbling. And, of course, very useful.
