Jack Frost Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 (edited) And costs more Yes, but the mileage probably makes up the cost less or equal than the gas. But it's not the factor here. Diesel prices are the same as gas prices. Edited March 25, 2009 by Jack Frost
rknapp Posted March 26, 2009 Author Posted March 26, 2009 I've noticed Diesel is all over the place in terms of price around me. Some stations sell it for more than 91/93 Premium, some sell it for less. It's still more than 87 Regular and 89 Plus.
MikeL Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 Here's a cool Smart Car: If I remember correctly, the European version has an 81hp, 3 cylinder, diesel.

MikeL Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Robbie, if you're still in the market for a replacement car, you might not want to rush into buying one. You should at least wait to see what Detroit produces after the government bailout/takeover is complete. Remember that the best minds in Washington will be involved in designing your new ride. For example: And remember, you new ride is backed by the full faith and credit of the Government of the United States of America:
rknapp Posted April 11, 2009 Author Posted April 11, 2009 lol Bought a car already, so I'll have to miss out on the exquisite services of the US Government.
Jack Frost Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Remember that the best minds in Washington will be involved in designing your new ride. Since when they never have done that?
