Hmmmmmmm I find them quite entertaining...."Terry Goodkind" The Author Of the Sword of Truth Series....or the Basis for the T.V Series "Legend of the Seeker" did an awesome job at writing in two differnt people at the same time. I pretty much know his Characters Kahlan Amnell and Riched Rahl like no tomorrow, and i love them both. Very good!

Now i hate movies like Lord of the rings who tried to do the same thing.....Frankly i skip all the Hobbit parts and get to the WAR! lol Seriously it sucks now but i love the movies.

I love Descriptive stories that really get into the technicall aspect of reading people and Society and well everything. The Technical Aspect of Stefs Business Intrigued me totaly, although i'm surprised he's only had one SCARE and never any more....I think Stef could use a Money scare again!!! Maybe Throw Some Stones Brads way who i adore for a Character!

Max....i love too....Cody, still a little off about him....i don't trust him....i think he could come between JP and Stef Now!! How come AIDS is Out of the picture These days also??? no one close has died yet....i think someone needs to die again and creat emotional trama & disaster in the family only to bring them closer.......Clair with a Stillborn?? That would be so Painfull!

But that's just suggestions and things that may give you ideas on how to go with future stories. lol i don't want to change what you have i love it all!!! But since your rewriting maybe this will create a very different ending!!

Great work Mark #1 (That's you Tiger #1 lol)

Interesting thought about Stef. For the money thing to happen he'd have to put all of his eggs in one basket (like the dot.com boom) and then lose it. Quite frankly, I think he'd be much smarter than that. I feel like having him do something like that would betray his character. He's always been footloose and carefree in his personal life, and very controlled and analytical when it comes to business.

I guess I should have put more on AIDS in there, but I kind of figured that they'd wise up and practice safe sex. They've all limited their circle or used condoms, so there aren't any Armands out there. So that means I'd have to create someone to kill them off..not good for my psyche.

Yes, Cody does have a special ability...Ringmaster. :2thumbs: This could lead to an excellent career directing gay porn. :P That whole scene involving Max, Cody and Stef just blew me away....as it were. Loved it.

As for Erik - exit stage right! B)

Yes, Stef and JP together, so soon in the story, makes me wonder. Mind you, there are still a few other characters that need sorting out before this story is done, especially Marcel and Max and, of course, Cody. I'm wondering how Cody will react to JP and Stef together. I'm guessing he'll be ok with it; besides, he'll still be in there pitching to the lesbians! :lmao:

I don't understand what's going on with Marcel. He seems so out-of-character. :(

I think Stef will keep Cody with him...JP already got rid of Eric, so JP and Stef are in an affair now...possibly a 3-way relationship with Cody, since he claims to enjoy both their company. Frank has Isidore, so that front's covered...Max (in Malibu) and Marcel may get back together....

Marc, you create quite a puzzle here...as much as I don't like the spectre of HIV+/AIDS, I think the next candidate is Bruno...who would have contracted it after Marcel left Chicago from the "twink" that dissed Stef...and, fortunately none of our cast of characters are infected...once again keeping our continued supply of stories safe from further depletion, and, since Marcel owns the building and presumably part of the bar will end up able to do a takeover-buy-out of the bar from Bruno's heirs, if he had any--unless, of course, he just left it to Marcel anyway. This would give Marcel a fun place to play--but he should clean the place up of drugs...they could ruin him even if he never takes them again.

I'm trying to visualize a drug-free gay dance club in 1995. It's hard. :D

Yeah, the mid-90's were when Ecstasy really became a major part of the club scene. Since you like being true to life, having drug-free gay clubs would be totally out of character. I'm not saying the drugs are a good thing, because they're certainly not. However they are part of life no matter how many would like to minimize that particular counter-culture. As for the lack of newly HIV-infected characters, I think it's a good thing.

By the way, I think some are being too hard on Marcel. He's a very sexual guy. He may be smart, but he can be influenced, and he is known for the occasional sexual misadventure. He'll grow up some day hopefully. He's actually a lot like Stefan used to be in his younger days. :P

Mark, I know what you mean, that's pretty much why Rob & I stopped even trying to get out to any bars/clubs whatever...there are several places here in the Long Beach area that have had occasional closings because of drug related activities going on between customers, but nothing permanent, except that Fire Island closed a couple years ago--the owner of the bar was over extended and the original location's owner sold the property to a developer who built a Walgreens.

Tiger, yeah, E became a real problem--for sure--and while "drug-free" clubs would be somewhat "out of character", this is also when the clubs really started to self-police for drugs because of the seriousness of the problem. So it wouldn't be impossible for a club to have a "drug-free" policy, while attempting to limit patrons entering with them, or ejecting them when they are seen using them.

Bruno with HIV....now that i think would be ok. But i think Marcel needs a Scare, like a Mistake saying he's got it...then a correction saying no he doesn't like JP had back in though's old days :'(

As for steff well true he's very anilitical but why can't he be outwitted for something he needs before he retires haha.

You assume I can't come up with other interesting plot twists? :P We'll just see about that! :D

Your point about Stef is well taken, but I'm lucky in that I have lots of time before I have to worry about that...not until 1999.

I don't think Stef would put all his money on one project, even of it would be so alluring as dot.com companies at those times. He's older now, more experienced and I think he would risk less, he also has other ways how to spend money and other people to take care of (with his money), so he wouldn't risk. Moreover if he really stays with JP (reminding we're about in the half of the story and as it was shown in Greg's case, one chapter doesn't really make a definitive conclusion), so if he stays with JP, he'll be secured by his money as well. So there's not much chance to impoverish Stef...

But as I recall, Stef invested in some IT company at its beginnings, didn't he? So isn't he supposed to have some money from their profit now? He had some shares in it.

He certainly did. If I remember correctly, it was mentioned in Be Rad that he had make quite a chunk of change from the company as well. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong on that point.

Nope. You were spot on. I created a fictional company (Comcalc) in The Land Whore, meant to be a morph of Apple, Commodore, and other early tech giants. Presumably a shrewd investor like Stef, who was sitting on top of two huge opportunities in the Bay Area, real estate and the computer industry, would have done reasonably well with both of those gold mines.

Good notes:

Hmmm chapter13 was another cliffhanger as usual lol...these stories always get intense at the worst of times.

Anyway i liked the fact you sent lou to my country only....i'd die if he was real. lol. Shirtless in the winter! bahahaha not many do that anyway....it's usualy inside where it looks like winter. lol

I like the fact JP and steff are together but i find the whole thing wierd...haha more surreal for steff....

Bad note:

Sorry, but i find myself getting very bored with the story, it's all family crap that i don't have making me feel i duno jealous of fictional characters....so i'm wondering if there is an intense story you or someone else has read on here that has the perspective of going from nobody to a family. like JP but he just sort of transfered from his parents family to his own.

So Cody was hired for his talent in reading people. That's cool; but is he going to be expected to identify a promising show biz type talent? I'm curious about that. Did he ever lay it on what's her name or what? :2thumbs: Well, she did ask.

All is good with JP and Stef.

I'm glad that Robbie's getting a few punchlines. :great:

The fact that Marcel is there now really says a lot. I'm told crow is best eaten while still warm. Unfortunately, for Marcel at least, cold crow buffet is what's on the menu...especially since Max will be doing a lot of the serving. I suspect that Stef's insight into Marcel's behaviour for the last while will most certainly have an impact on Max. But why Bruno? That's what I'm having trouble with. Bruno's a pig. I get that Bruno manipulated Marcel...but to that extent?

So we'll see (soon I hope) what Marcel has to say for himself.

I have a feeling that Marcel is going to become confrontational. Max and Stef flirting won't sit well with him. There's no doubt about that. I look for Stef to really put him in his place though. It's going to be an interesting chapter for sure, as all of them are of course. I'm not one to get bored with the story. I want more, more, more...

I'm still playing catch up after my holiday, but just had to butt in & say, Oh my god, you killed Greg! :(

Do try and catch up, won't you? Probably still sore from Spain. :P

And this is a bad thing because? He was a total jerk. Good riddance. :P

LOL! "Take the building and forgive him." is the line of the day! :D

That was definitely a good one. "I like to suck dick." I love that line, though if I am saying it, I normally use a synonym of rooster. Great chapter by the way. :D

I would have preferred to have heard from Marcel directly, especially around his infidelity. All we have is Stef's assessment that he was grieving Greg's passing.

With all the attention Max is getting from Stef, Cody and JP, I'm thinking he'll one day thank Marcel for his indiscretion. :P

Cody has definitely added a great deal to the story for the last several chapters. His comment about Max getting more on an even keel with Marcel was quite insightful.

A synonym for rooster??? I'll have to look that up! 0:)

Alejandro is a little slut puppy. Stef is going to have his hands full with this one. Of course, Cody will be most helpful from what I can see. And that scene with Jason, Stef, and JP was pretty good. I should have known they'd end up taking his big... rooster. 0:)
