Gandalf Lyonn Posted November 20, 2003 Posted November 20, 2003 Hey people, I need some help. I'm making a List of laws for house elves. Post any ideas you have for some here. The more the better. Gandalf
Forloyn Posted November 20, 2003 Posted November 20, 2003 You do NOT want to know what I first though when I saw the topic! I truly have no morals * Winter gose and stands in a corner to dround in his shame. *
Gandalf Lyonn Posted November 22, 2003 Author Posted November 22, 2003 Yes, I do. And here are the ones I have come up with so far. Gandalf Lyonn Posted December 7, 2003 Author Posted December 7, 2003 HEY PEOPLE! I need some feedback on this. PLEASE. Gandalf
Forloyn Posted December 9, 2003 Posted December 9, 2003 This looks good and follows the books rather well. I don't think much should be added or taken away. remember to keep it simple so it's easy to work with. You don't want your story (if you are going to write one) to get to wordy just discribing a few rules that the reader may or may not care about.) Its the plot they want! ok... it more the smut that they want but you have to have a plot or it's just lame.... on second thought I don't even know if I should post this no one cares what I think anyhow... I should just stick to writing and forget giving advice I'm no good at it.
Gandalf Lyonn Posted December 9, 2003 Author Posted December 9, 2003 Every piece of information helps. Even if only one person gets it. KNOWLEDGE IS POWER. Thanks for the feedback. Gandalf
Sparhawk Posted December 9, 2003 Posted December 9, 2003 While I am a fan of Harry Potter, this is deeper than I really want to get into it. However I did take the time to look over your list. I think you need to work a little more on #19 it is rather confusing. I am not sure I understand it. Now it might just be me.
boy on a string Posted December 10, 2003 Posted December 10, 2003 I am unsure if you wanted to include the rules that are in the book, such as A house elf may not own or use a wand. also you should have something about an house elf punishing him/her self. And I agree about #19 ... it makes no sence to me. Boy on a string
