Trebs Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 Guy with the binoculars, was the one who told Ali about the ship, not Sanchez.
Benji Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 Guy with the binoculars, was the one who told Ali about the ship, not Sanchez. ........... A local man on the island that Trevor just left scanned him leaving the island, Captain Ali later using his night vision goggles checked the Id of the boat on AIS and confirmed the information, it matched the one given him (who gave him this info?) . Later Captain Ali wonders why someone so young would have done to garner such enmity (indeed why was his mission to include a hostile action, as in such kill Trevor? Why not just strip the ship and leave?) No, this has Sanchez's fingerprints all over it.
Site Moderator TalonRider Posted October 21, 2010 Site Moderator Posted October 21, 2010 Who was standing on the cliff with binoculars? See, that's just part of the mystery.

Conner Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 Tsk! Tsk! A cliffhanger? Certainly not. As CJ clearly explained, this is a mystery story. The goal of any mystery story is to provide sufficient clues for the reader to solve the mystery. Further, it must be a mystery worth solving. Otherwise, what's the point? Do you really want your mystery served up on a platter? I should hope not. Screaming clifffhanger for a mystery story is a sure sign of a frustrated reader who can't solve the mystery and wants immediate gratification. Shame, shame.
