Mainstream gay fiction

I just came upon this story series and am wondering if anyone would recommend it:

 

The Nightrunner Series

 

Also, for some reason, I get the feeling a few of our fantasy writers might enjoy this story as they hone their stories and craft. Being more a science fiction and history fiction fan, I don't write fantasy much, but still enjoy the genre.

Hi, I would highly recommend the nightrunner series. I found the first book "Luck in the Shadows" in a secondhand book store many years ago and have loved the series ever since. I'm waiting impatiently for the sixth book which has just gone to her editor. You can follow her blog "Talk in the Shadows" at Live Journal.
