Mystery or Adventure Recs?

What are your recommendations for a mystery or adventure story? Looking for something with adult characters that's not focused on coming out issues (okay if that's part of the story, just not the focus). Slight preference for the real world setting vs. fantasy or sci-fi. Thanks!

The Horatio Nimier series Two Distinct Divisions are well done mysteries and can be found through BestofNifty.org.

 

Also, the Josh Lanyon detective series with the Adrian English character, available in book form inexpensively from Kindle, are quite good. You can get a Kindle app for your PC (or Mac?) if you don't own a Kindle.

Thanks. I think I've already gone through all of Josh Lanyon and Libby Drew. I'll check out the Horatio Nimier series. Also, if anyone else is looking - Jane Seville's "Zero at the Bone" is a great read.

Love this book! If you don't mind buying books "Dash and Dingo" by Catt Ford and Sean Kennedy is a pretty good adventure/romance set in 1930's Australia.
