I always like it when you guys get all het up over your (well...not really yours, but you know what I mean) fictional characters.
And danged if I'm not seriously irritated by being put in the position of agreeing with PrivateTim.
I had the pleasure, over the years, to meet Robert in person twice, sit and have a meal with him along with several other wonderful people. As I have said before, he was a jewel amongst men. Robert had the ability to make you a part of the conversation, as if he'd known you for years. He will be missed.
Rest in peace, my friend. And when you see Vic (and you will - just look for the gym bunnies, he'll be close by), tell him I said hello.
Dang, you people take your fiction way too seriously. Ain't it wonderful??
And its my sincerely held belief that Matt's an ass, has always been an ass, and more than likely will continue to be an ass in any future story. So there! Oh...and while I'm at it, Will is the most awesome teenager ever!!!!! Even when he disrespects every known adult in the world. That's just how he rolls.
This is the one that I usually suggest. It breaks the story's hold on your interest allowing you to catch errors that your eyes would normally skim over.
Once again, as a small bit of advice to my forum co-posters, never, ever, open an email with the subject line 'hey - I need a favor'.
And at 4:35 in the AM, your toes should still be getting their beauty rest.
Actually I am constantly amazed that his nibs continues to pull this author thing off with such grace and ease.
Technically, lasagna is the name for the flat pasta noodle. The dish, lasagna, is layers of the noodles alternated with sauces and any other ingredients. There's no hard and fast rule that lasagna has to have beef and/or tomatoes. So whip up a nice white sauce and slather that over your pasta and whatever. I'd go with shredded chicken and roasted veggies like eggplant and zucchini, maybe some mushrooms. Add some Asiago to that white sauce...goes well with the chicken.
Now I've made myself hungry...and planned Sunday's dinner.
