Rakuten06 Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 (edited) What do you think of Miami Marlins' new stadium in Miami? In other news, we know that the Marlins lost to the St. Louis Cardinals 4-1 Edited April 6, 2012 by Rakuten06
Daddydavek Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 Go Cards! For over $600 million it should be spectacular.
Bill W Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 It looks nice, but how does the ball carry and how's the visibility for the fielders? I hope it offsets the summer heat in Miami too.
BlueSoxSWJ Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 Looks like a good number of Cardinals fans made the trip down to Miami. I mean, some of those sections have almost as many people as empty seats!
TetRefine Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 A shiny new stadium doesn't fix the fact that you have no fan base and you continually suck year after year.
TrevorTime Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 Retractable roof stadium, for the win!! I know the purists say that playing in a stadium like that isn't "real" baseball. But trust me, no one wants to sweat their balls off while watching a game. I've been to both of Anaheim Stadium (open air) and Chase Field (closed roof), and I thought Chase was better.

Ummm, Chase Field is what,14 years old? Angel Stadium is one of the oldest in baseball. It opened in 1966. Despite a "renovation" in 1998, there is nothing they can really do to put lipstick on that pig. It needs to be blown up and replaced.
