The book wasnt THAT bad compared to a lot of fiction released on Dreamspinner or sold on amazon tbh. Personally I kind of enjoyed following Christians development to an actual human being. I do feel that he as a character was a little to..competent in a lot fo areas given his age. But since its a reworked twilight fanfic with long-lived vamps I guess that part was overlooked.

I agree with Sympathia. But I don't see how they can get the same emotion across in a film. The internal dialogue and feelings that are explained in the book, will be hard to get across in picture.

Also seeing the first film will give you as bad start if you don't know what happens in the next two books. Seeing her leave at the end, why would you want to see another film when the first one has such a weird ending?

I do believe that these were books that should never have been thought of for film.
