  1. Welcome matey. Its a mad house here, but you'll feel really welcome i'm sure. Loads of good stuff to read, and there is also a forum for guys your age that you may have already found that will answer some questions you may have. Or you can just ask one of you own. You can find that HERE if you haven't already. If you are looking for a certain type of story just ask in the forums, there are many folks here that had read loads of content and will probably be able to recommend some winners. Stay safe, and again, welcome to GA
  2. I really must start trying these out... but i'm strangely scared. lol
  3. Always nice to see another Brit join the site, it means one more person who understands my writing Welcome Stuart, where are you from South or North? Welcome to GA Its reporting you have only made one post. Try another forum section.
  4. LMAO, Best line ever, I don't know why I had to read that line just as I took a sip of OJ from my glass, God wants to play jokes on me. Good interview and very interesting
  5. Sorry to hear of your loss Valk. I hope the day goes as well as these kinds of days can. Big hugz

  7. CLOCHETTE Hoping you have a fantastic day! Bonne fête à la journée de mon ami à travers le canal
  8. I'm not any of those things he outlined in bold headlines. I feel depressed now!
  9. Sorry to hear of your sad loss Myr, 67 is no age, and as I sat reading your blog entry it took my back to my own mother's death in 2006, I was 24. Its very hard to lose a parent when you are relatively young. My mother just like your father died pretty quick, except mine died of a brain hemorrhage and not a heart attack. Also like you, the last words we said to each other was "I love you" because for my mum, it was her 41st birthday celebration. I waited until she went to bed and left her and my step dad's house by Taxi with my partner. Basically between then and the morning a blood vessel burst in her head and she never woke up again. Your sad event brings home so many memories and although each situation is different, I truly know how you feel at this moment. Much love and Hugz. Look after yourself and be strong for your mum. Matt
  10. Forget the dress, Spock is dead
  11. More education about the risks would be money better spent. A person going out and having unprotected sex knowing they can just take a pill will lead to yet another drain on the NHS, and I don't think this is a good road to go down. Another view of mine is that we seem to be reaching (hopefully) the home straight on curing this bastard disease so I would again, spend the money on more research. Just my 2 Cents.

I have 2 cats - Smokey (Russian Blue) and Sasha (Moggy) Smokey is 11 in May and I think Sasha is 6. I also have a 220ltr Fish tank where I keep my tropical fish. I have a veriety of community fish 0 Angles, Neons, Tiger barb, scissortails and up until last month a catfish, but he passed away Here are my two Kitties...

I'm sleeping with the fucking light on tonight now you bastard! D
  20. Kinda Stevie Nicks and Linsey Buckingham, but I think you made the right decision especially the part about inviting poeple into your relationship - What was he thinking???? I hope you are as happy now as you sound, and if I were single, I would have loved to have someone with your personality to spend my life with. You deserve the happiness it looks like you found and if your Ex is ever sitting at home alone some nights you can bet he's probably cursing himself for being such a fucktard. Good for you
  21. I think like with everything in this mighty process of constant renewal, if this site went another one would take its place so I'm not overly worried. We had a butcher's up the street go bust the other day. It was a family business that had been trading for 157 years. When the shutters came down for the last time I don’t think many people even blinked. As humans we are always on to bigger, better, newer things and there is just not the time to be nostalgic any longer. Shame, but thats life. The only way to stay above water is to be better than whats already out there. As far as I can see (having looked at other sites) GA is ok for the moment. But look what happened to Friends Reunited when Facebook came along. Nothing is ever forever, and no one can ever get comfortable. EDIT: Just looked at Shortbread, and I can kinda see why its dying of death. Eeeek!
  22. I really hope laying this out and having the GA community around you helps Dyno. Really sorry to hear you are going through a rough patch in what is unfortunately the circle of life. Whatever your beliefs, find comfort in the fact he is out of the rat race now and in a better place surrounded by old friends Take Care x
