As a guy who absolutely hates beer and is too embarrassed to drink wine coolers, I've learned to like liquors. Now that the whole craft cocktail thing has become hugely popular in America, its a good time to be a liquor drinker. Here are the Top 15 most popular liquors in America.

Before i started limiting myself to beer, I used to buy:

I feel ashamed that Jagermeister is on that list. I don't count it as a liquor. It's cough syrup with a higher alcohol content for college kids. No one outside of that age range should be drinking it. Ever.

Agreed. Even in college as an underage drinker I would still refuse that nasty stuff. 

 

I'm pretty much a tequila, vodka, rum, and gin guy. Screwdrivers are my staple bar drink.

On the rocks, it is a really smooth Kentucky bourbon.

You should try Don Julio tequile. Much better thant Patron which is just better marketed.

 

Havana Club Anejo rum or Four Roses bourbon for sipping. The rum's not available yet in the US but I'm hoping it will be sometime soon now that we have diplomatic relations with the island again!

There are 24 breweries in my town, so I can usually find a beer that I like , but for special occasions...

 

If it's really hot outside, there's nothing like a Bombay Sapphire Gin & Tonic:

 

The rest of the year, Jack Daniels with some ice and maybe a splash of water, but never ever cola!

 

Wine almost always makes my head hurt
