Why do profiles show different things?

Here is another question - different topic.

Why when I go to a certain author's profile does it just list their ACTIVITY STREAM on my own author profile it lists:

• Activity
• About Me
• Blogs
• Albums
• Stories

 

Without the stories option on an author profile it's - well difficult.

Is this a personal choice, or what, because it's weird for an author not to list their stories.

This is an intermittent bug low on the priority list since there are so many (And better) ways to view authors.  Clicking the Author Link on the menu comes to mind. https://www.gayauthors.org/stories/browse/author/

You can then just start typing the name of the author you're looking for.

This bug should not be fixed.  If you have stories, it will properly redirect to your stories page.  Fixing this issue caused the disappearing act the other tabs was doing to stop as well.
