MythOfHappiness Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 What are some of your favorite podcasts? Bonus points if they have LGBT themes. Personally I really like The Bright Sessions (really great about realistic LGB representation, and even an asexual main character), The Magnus Archives, (some LGBT rep, but it’s a horror podcast so pretty much everybody dies… don’t hold it against them. ), Welcome to Night Vale (Another horror podcast, though admittedly a more silly version of horror. The narrator is a gay, HIV+ man and his character in the show is the same… to the extent that it is sometimes hard to tell which is which) and The Adventure Zone (A podcast about three straight white guys playing D&D that unexpectedly contains some very positive representation, including a gay main character and his transgender twin sister).
CassieQ Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 I like King Falls, which is similar to WTNV, though not as...um...odd. Alice Isn't Dead is another good one. And kudos for mentioning The Bright Sessions, which is amazing for representation (Mark is bisexual, which is awesome).

I like Alice Isn't Dead as well, haven't heard of King Falls. I'll have to look into it. Thanks for the suggestion. 1
Former Member Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 Two of my favorite podcasts are The History of English Podcast and Bay Curious. Bay Curious is from KQED, San Francisco’s PBS/NPR juggernaut, and being from SF, it has had at least one story with a Gay subject. The History of English Podcast explains the ancestry of the language. But there have been LGBT topics on podcasts like Dan Savage’s Savage Lovecast, Stuff You Should Know, Stuff You Missed in History Class, and Stuff Mom Never Told You too.
TetRefine Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 This American Life The Daily From The New York Times S-Town Stuff You Should Know NPR Politics The New Washington Real Time w/ Bill Maher ESPN 30 for 30 Serial ...and some more. I am a huge fan of podcasts.
