May he rest in peace. A truly remarkable man who overcame so much during his incredible life. I think I'll dig out my copy of A Brief History of Time and have another read...

That he defeated all odds and survived so long with motor neuron disease (ALS) was an ongoing miracle.  Despite that, he was able to do research and publish at such an exceptional level is astounding when he had to devote so much time and energy to just survive...

I didn’t think of this until now. How coincidental that Mr. Hawking passed on 3.14. Also known as Pi Day.

i know we all have to go at some point in time, but i am still surprised, especially when men like Stephen Hawking pass on. He will not be forgotten.

It was also Albert Einstein's birthday. 

 

We all know he didn't die, he just changed forms of matter. ;p
