Years ago l wrote a Gothic novel called All Hallows Eve.lt took me ten years to get it published but part one came out in 2023.The conclusion is do 3 but has not yet come out as the publisher is dragging their feet on it and often goes long periods without añswering my calls.ln the mean time lve been working oñ a sequel for about two years and have started and stopped many times dissatisfied with it.lm writing it for me whether it ever gets published or not. It takes up immediately after the unpublished second book.As lve noted elsewhere it focuses upon the fraternal twin brother of the heroine in the first two books, a Bronx cop named Daniel Akers (Danny).lt takes place in New York City in Nov,. 1982 Danny had just made detective several moñths before and was moving into a new house though in a poor neighborhood. He is 29 but will be 30 in December.At the conclusion of book 2 he was infected with the werewolf virus while trying to save his sister.She too was infected but in this mythos only men çhange due to their level of testosterone.The hero of the earlier books was the main werewolf and his sisters fiance cursed by the villain his crippled stepbrother.The villain dies at the end of book 2.But he turned the estates security guards into vampires to keep the police away while he tried to possess the heroes teenage son in a ritual.One of these vampires revived at autopsy and needs to get rid of the survivors from the estate as they know too much añd might interfere with him.ln book 3 Dannys friend,Jacob (Jake) Braddock gets out of the navy  and comes to stày as Akers promised he could before everything else occurred .Jake, 25 is the younger brother of à former team mate of Danny's from high school.Jake became estranged from his father,a cop after his mother diedHe fled home and was taken in by Danny's parents until he completed high school añd eñtered the navy.Secretly he was gay and had  çrush on Danny he never quite got over.Danny meanwhile was also gay but buried it deeply because was molested in his early teens but told nobody.lt left him emotionally scarred and isolated from all save his family and even a bit from them.But he has a soft spot for Jake.Braddock however gets attacked by the vampire who intends to use him against the heroes in secret.When that fails he turns Jake who bites Danny.But the werewolf healing factor saves Akers and severs the villains çontrol over Jake though Braddock who remains a vampire.Guilty Danny admits his feelings for Jake forbidding the others from stàking him.          I keep rewriting it never finding quite the right way to tell it and where to take it.The villain is the essence of Dracula brought to life by black magic with one of the security guards (Gregore Balescu) as it's host. It is also my first attempts to write a gay romance.While not strictly a romance the relationship,is ceñtral to the story.
