Anyone that has a clue as to how to code for the Invision Power Board to accept an image as a link, please help. I have been pulling my hair out for the past few hours. It will not allow me to use html coding, or any concieveable variation. I have been taking code from the page's of ga its self to no avail. I am clueless as to what to do next.

Watch this be a simple matter <_< . Here is the html coding i want to use for my signature:

<A href="https://www.gayauthors.org/eficiton/series.php?seriesid=9"target="_blank"><img src="http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e223/viper_dw_00_86/linklogo.jpg" width="182" height="66" alt=""></A>

Pleading for help,

Silven

Here's the coding you need for inserting image links into your signature (without the space after the first and last [ bracket):

[ url=https://www.gayauthors.org/eficiton/series.php?seriesid=9]http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e223/viper_dw_00_86/linklogo.jpg[ /img]

I tryed that already, and I just tryed it again. No luck. It produces before the image. It dose not show up as a link. I even tryed chenging the image I am using to a gif.

Well obviously I can't help, but this looks like a job for the new Tech support team!

lol, seriously you should look them up. I recently had an issue and they solved it for me immediately. I know Rhawes16 and GaryO are on the team, I'm not sure who else.

Edit: I REALLY need to pay attention, I didn't realize Rob was already on it! I hope you guys can figure it out!

Actually, RHawes16's code works, once you fix the typos ;) Just tried it in a preview and it came up ok...

You'll need to remove the line breaks there - so it's all one big long line - and then it should work

Jalaki beat me to it. The problem with the above is that there's no closing tag for the URL. Put in the at the end of string and it will work.

I've already been through all of the crap you're trying, and the best thing to do to ayoid all of this is to try what I suggested in my first post...that's how I worked the banner in my sigi....I just linked to the image and wrapped the url around it. It's much easier than messing around with code.
