[Dezlboi] The Boy

Hey Everyone!

 

I was just wondering what everyone thought of The Boy?

 

I really enjoyed this story! I think Brent did the right thing, and I'm also really intrigued by the ending! What do you all think it means? My guess is that "the boy" was some kind of angel or something.

Thanks, man. I have a love/hate relationhip with this story now. This was the first story I wrote, over at Com's Shack. For what it is, I guess it's not too bad. And some parts I can re-read today (especially in chapter 2) and wonder where the heck I got that stuff...like the descriptions of driving down the strip along the beach, or watching the kid play in the sand, his shadow on the pavement...I'm not sure I actually wrote that.

 

But I hate that I wrote it in that weird present-tense. But re-writing it would be awful, and it also shows where I was at that point, so I guess I really need to leave it as-is.
