Unless you're allergic, a small dose of Aspirin or other acetylsalisylic acid medication can also make the difference between life and death.

 

Note: other kinds of headache tablets, such as paracetamols, do not have that effect. (As far as I'm concerned, paracetamols should be banned, except they're useful in certain situations not directly related to pain. Too inefficient, too many side effects, too narrow a margin between efficient dose and overdose)
