I will get a picture if it turns out that it gets botched. I did do it in the end, but only trimmed the back so it doesnt fluff out at the sides anymore. If your foot is suddenly a few centimetres longer it actually makes walking really dangerous - you trip up all the time when you forget to lift your foot a bit higher and the sole catches on the ground. This is especially true up or down stairs; the sole catches on the edge of the tread as youre climbing them, tripping you up, and when coming down makes it easier to slip off the edge of a step if you dont quite place your foot right, sending you flying.

Oh I can vouch for this not being true. Margarine goes mouldy with the 'round green fur' type of mould. . We also drink beer - a poison, eat cheese - mouldy milk, eat chilis - we're mad. Interestingly we also eat bread which has starch in it. Starch is like margarine in that it is a long chain polymer.. the 'article' expressed this as 'being close to plastic'. Im not put off eating bread by this. Marg is made from oil (as in vegetable not crude ). If you have no problem eating oil you should have no problem eating marg. I dont know whether any of the rest is true. It is a good substitute for butter when you are buying on a budget. The author forgot the critical decision point: Marg is cheaper. . I use marg on bread. It depends on what my experience of a recipe is as to whether I use butter or marg to make cakes/biscuits etc.

The size of the 'degrees' on the F scale is smaller, or at least some of the time, this does not make it more suited to every day weather measurements. Can you really tell a +/- 1 degree C difference? I suspect the answer is 'no', no matter how much you might say that you can. Because both C and F have a higher 'resolution' than the sensitivity of our bodies it really does not matter from that perspective which scale you use. So that addresses your first paragraph. Well, yes it is just a set of numbers. But, it is much more accurate than you say.. the scale is now defined in a different way. Personally I'd say that C is a better system . I'd prefer it to be based on some non physical parameters but *shrug*. With imperial measurements..
