Well he's the first one to actually matter. People don't care about women's sports, nor do they care about non-team sports. The only sports that matter are mens football, hockey, baseball, and basketball. So while he may not technically be the first out pro-athlete, he's the first one to come out that people actually care about as a whole.

Get a degree in something with a realistic job market opportunity. Stay away from things like art, English, psychology, etc unless you plan on going to grad school. Then it may be worth considering, but if not you are just wasting thousands of dollars and four years to work in retail or McDonalds.

I asked my dad to DVR all three parts, so as soon as I come back home I'll be watching it. To me, the 1980s is probably one of the most fascinating times in recent American history, given Reagan, the Cold War, Wall Street, and the Crack Epidemic. Also, I am absolutely obsessed with National Geographic Channel.

I visited the new Trade Center complex this past December when I was in New York. It was amazing and a bit emotional, because the last time I was actually near that area of Lower Manhattan was three days before 9/11 and the original Twin Towers were still standing.

Condoms can be a pain in the ass, yes. But if you're having sex (and especially if you are sleeping around), its pretty damn good when you look at the alternatives of unwanted pregnancy and STDs.

I would be forever grateful to the man or woman that invents a condom that reduces the "barrier" feel that even the thinnest condoms now still give you.
