  1. Good luck! I'm glad it's not me. But I'm happy that at least things on the baby front are going well, even if the florist is a Grade A f**k up.
  2. Dare I say, will the half-time sink so low as to have Justin Bieber?
  3. I'm surprised the legendary Steelers defense broke down, especially in the first quarter. Funny how Christina Aguilera botched the national anthem. I hate pop singers singing the anthem. They are always way too show-offish.
  4. And yet you know none of the admins on here, but yet you talk bad about them. Shame on you. Stop being a hypocrite. Everyone is telling you how difficult and how much work it takes to run and update everything on GA, and he expects to be thrown to the top of the list because he has the patience of a child? Like they said, they have tons of work to do, much more pressing issues, so you sir need to cut them a break and stop throwing accusations around when you are clearly not aware of the situation. I'm not even an author but I realize how much of their FREE TIME!!!! the admins are putting into this site (especially with the updates) so we can all enjoy. I'm so freakin sick of people bitching about everything not going perfect on the switchover. Good point Mark.
  5. This one line made me burst out laughing.
  6. If theres a tie they go into overtime and it's sudden death. Thats one of the things I hate about soccer. They have ties. Overtime to determine the winner. Theres no such thing as tying in competition. Someone has to win.
  7. How is this moron still making headlines?
  8. HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMELIA!!!
  9. Your soooooooo gay.
  10. Theres no such thing as a tie in a real sport.
  11. The Panthers?
  12. Who do you think will win Super Bowl XLV?
  13. Because he is pretty corrupt, the economy is slumping, and food prices are soaring. Mubarak has been in power for thirty years and uses his secret police to squash any opposition in a pretty brutal fashion. The protests and overthrow of the government in Tunisia basically inspired the Egyptian people to begin a revolution that many say is long overdue. The funny thing is, if Mubarak falls, which is entirely possible, most likely either another military dictator will seize power or the Muslim Brotherhood will implement an Iranian style theocracy.
  14. Down here in southeast PA we got one "big" one last week (about 10 inches). I put big in quotes because for a born and bred native northern New Englander, 10 inches is nothing. Apparently back home in New Hampshire they could get 22 inches by the end of the week. My home city has already had about 72 inches so far and its just barely February! I'm missing out on some of the best skiing in years.
  15. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
  16. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
  17. I agree with you. Never thought I'd say that.
  18. Both these series goes to prove that if you can write a book series full of garbage that appeals to screaming tween fan girls, you can become mega rich. It goes even more to show that if you put a very hot, hunky teen in a movie with his shirt off all the time, you can become even more rich. Honestly, what ever happened to well-developed characters, a complicated, intricate plot, and people reading above a 3rd grade level?
  19. The advances of modern medical science can do wonders. Congrats Andy and good luck!
  20. Our choco lab Bailey, who we had to put down a couple weeks ago. And our 9 year old choco lab named Ranger. He still has the energy and brain capacity of a puppy, but we love him tons.
  21. Well, I did have two cats (a one and a half year old black and white male, and a 14 year old grey female), and two dogs (both chocolate labs). Back last October, our younger kitty disappeared one night and didn't come back. We have these nasty little shitheads called fisher-cats that love to eat people's pet cats. I'm assuming thats what happened. Then back a couple weeks ago, we had to put our older chocolate lab down after discovering her insides were being aggressively taken over by cancer. So now were down to a older cat who likes to sleep, eat, and laze around all day (shes a great snuggle kitty), and a 9 year old chocolate lab male who acts like he is six months old. He was really depressed when our other dog didn't come home from the vet, as they have been together since we first got them. But he's cheered up some as he now gets to go on long snowshoeing trips through the woods every weekend with my parents. Anyway, I'm more of a cat person then a dog one but I like both. I think when I get older I'll stick to one cat and one dog. I've always wanted an Irish Wolfhound or a Great Dane.
  22. So, guys, when you get dressed up, do you prefer a tie or a bow tie? Me personally, I always wear a tie. I don't like the way bow ties look for some reason.
  23. Ohhh this was an interesting post and one that got me thinking much more then I ever planned to do today. Honestly, I have no answers to your questions. I never experienced death of someone close until this past summer. Honestly, I wanted to (and still to some degree do) ignore it all and push it to the back of my head. Maybe we make death as impersonal as possible to try and make it seem less real and easier to forget. Just a thought. Why that has only started recently in modern times I don't know. <div><br></div><div>Now this is going to intrigue and bother me the rest of the day. <img src="http://www.gayauthors.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/read.gif" alt="" class="bbc_emoticon"></div>
  24. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOEY!!!
