I totally forgot about this story but when I started rereading it (from chapter 1) I fell in love with it again.
I'm really rooting for Tom but I'm worried that he might end up hurting Mark. Hopefully Tom gets his shit straightened out before he starts any sort of real relationship with Mark.
When I called for blood, I didn't think that I'd get it so... literally.
I loved that we caught a glimpse into Mira's mind in this chapter (let alone that he said his first word- aside, I swore it was going to be Shay). It's amazing that his consciousness has developed so far in such a short time.
I also loved how Shay realized in some way that Mira loves him and that he loves Mira. It was an amazing revelation.
Thanks for posting so quickly!
I totally didn't see that coming. Poor Gibby. It was incredibly painful to read and I can only imagine the horror Gibby must have experienced.
I'm also happy that Tanner was able to show Gibby his true colors during this chapter. It was truly amazing.
Finally, death to the bitch! (and great chapter)
What a powerful story. Love conquers all, and the White and Red know the truth of Black's treachery. Hopefully things turn out well for the brothers later.
It's his own fault. You really can't trust anyone. Hopefully Mira kicks that bitch's head in.
It seems that they want to figure out how to use Shay to find a cure. I hope Konstantine comes to save the day and kills them all.
Great chapter, and if you haven't noticed yet I'm feeling bloodthirsty against everyone who's giving Shay a hard time.
And here I was thinking I'd be first to review...
Great chapter. Gibby and Tanner have their evidence but now they need to get over this new development. Hopefully they can work things out.
Thanks for updating, and I hope things stay normal!
Great story and history lesson. I'd like you to add that the Stonewall Inn wasn't only a gay hangout spot, it was a drag queen bar and the cops weren't coming to raid. They were coming to pick someone to randomly beat the shit out of. It's always best to remember that even if drag and transgender isn't your thing, the gay community owes a lot to them.
Also, Scalia and his cohort should die. Seriously die.
DADT was repealed due to similar circumstances you've shown throughout this story. The majority of the armed services (although the Marines are the most conservative and the least welcoming) don't give a fuck what you do in your bedroom as long as you can help protect them and our country. It's great that Jap and Jacky both don't need the special recommendations they've earned to enter the military.
I read this story when you posted it on nifty but I forgot how powerful this chapter is. I can't believe they gave him a gun. You just don't do that to a suicidal person.
Kit is 15. It's touching to see that Mitchell still won't let him play mature games but most teenagers would push back quite a bit more strongly against those limits. I'm liking it so far though!
Great one shot! More please? It's very intriguing. A few things that would need to be addressed: Numbers? How do vampires deal with modern weapons? Attack drones? Sniper rifles? Anti-personnel tanks?
Thanks for sharing!
You're right. A lot did happen this chapter. I'm really starting to like Konstantin and I'd like to restate my hope that Mira will regain his humanity. I think that Konstantin could help him.
I still have a ton of questions but I'm sure the answers are coming. The picture you've painted of this planet is really impressive. Thank you for posting and I'm looking forward to the next chapter.
This chapter was great but I'm still not over the tragedy. Tanner and Gibby are finally "together" but unless something drastically changes they'll never be able to show their love to the world.
I hope the autopsy uncovers some foul play. Hit and runs also leave evidence. Amanda needs to pay for everything she did.
So I was slightly off in my prediction (But I really like it when authors surprise me). They're absolutely meant for each other. Hopefully Thomas realizes his feelings for Alex sooner rather than later.
The ritual has me intrigued too. I suppose it's a family/indoctrination ritual originally made in order to prevent the massacre from happening again?
Great chapter!
Bloody brilliant. It was beautiful. The ah-hah moments and the way they proved their case all flowed together really well.
Have fun on your trip, and I can't wait until your next story comes out!
I can't believe its almost over! This has been one hell of a ride. I really enjoyed the characters, especially Drake's growth throughout the story. I'm worried about Faye but I'm holding out for the hope that she's being treated well. Perhaps this has something to do with the Dragons?
So many loose ends and only one more update! I can't wait.
It was so creepy when Tanner tried defending his murderer. Amanda really does have the world fooled. Hopefully the investigation turns up the foul play.
I'm not sure how you're going to progress their relationship with Tanner dead and all. It seems like a doomed relationship without the ability for Gibby to experience the world with (or without) Tanner. I'm interested in seeing where this goes but still marking your preferred hiding spots for a possible hunting down. (Under the bed, check).
Now on to hopes for the future: I'd really like Gibby to help Tanner solve his mystery and prove that Amanda and Ethan killed him. Also I want to know more about Gibby's ex and former best friend. How did it happen? Why did it happen? Will Tanner help Gibby gain the confidence he needs to meet someone else? Part of me hopes that Tanner can somehow come back to life and they can be together.
Thanks for posting. I love this story.
Poor Alex. He just needs to wait and Thomas will fix all of his fears. If his emotions are this high right now they'll be just as intense with joy when he finds out the truth.
From the beginning I thought that if Thomas and Alex had commitment or marriage ceremony Alex would be able to learn the truth. I'm happy for them!
Their world really is brutal. Forget a peaceful protest drastic changes need to happen now. Great chapter. You really have a talent for suspense and intrigue.
Well, the boys had their revelation but Drake messed it up (as usual). Their relationship is definitely stormy to the extreme but they do genuinely feel for each other. Hopefully the "Jack" kiss helps Drake move forward.
Drake's slow realization that he's in love with Jack is really engaging. I have a feeling that Jack is more in touch with his emotions than Drake and I'm really happy that you're updating so quickly. Is the story finished already?
I'm glad that there was justice and I hope the First Servant was telling the truth but you opened another can of worms- Alex.
Now that we have his point of view again I'm ready for some romance! Thanks for updating. This chapter the curses are from you instead of me, heh.
