Lore, I am so happy to hear your wonderful news. Children really are a blessing. I wish you an uneventful pregnancy and joyus years to follow. Children are not always easy, but when you look at their sweet faces it makes it all worth it. I think the most satisfying thing is when you know you have made an impact. One night we sat down for dinner and our niece was playing with her food instead of eating it. When my husband told her "Don't play with you food and don't eat your toys." She giggled and started ratteling off all these different do's and don't. I looked at her and said "That right. Where did you learn all that?" Her reply was "From you." I thought I was going to cry. I am a very shy person so I am not the type of person to strike up a conversation and I feel uncomfortable when someone I don't know talks to me. I also tend to avoid eye contact for the same reason. I don't like to draw attention to myself. When I was 16 my family moved from Chicago to a small town in downstate Illinois. Just like Michael it was total culture shock. People would drive down the road and wave at you even if they didn't know you. At first I was looking around trying to figure out who they were waving to. I got over it, but I still find it strange. When I met the principle of the highschool he put his arm around me and I amost hit him. Mag

I hate it when..... My boss should have left for the day, but instead is outside talking to the other manager working leaving me to run the entire place during our busiest time.

The strange thing is three years ago more of these things applied. Since moving back to civilization I have more enthusiasm for life.

Kel You've made my day with this. There are a least ten things on that list that still don't apply to me. I guess I'm not as old as I feel sometimes. I guess it helps that my friends are younger than me. 22 really made me laugh because I had one of those "I'm never gonna drink again" nights a couple of weeks. It was a going away celebration for a friend who was going out of town for a month. It was a crazy and fun. It's taken me two weeks to have another drink. Mag

I did that once. I learned never to do that again. Within a few months I was looking for those shoes to wear. I will only throw out shoes that are in bad shape. Mag

I guess I'm just lazy. He's better than me when it comes to that. He even puts the seat down. My last comment made me remember a night when I was out with a friend of mine. We both had to go to the bathroom, but the one stall girls room was occupied so he took me into the mens room where there was a free stall. I felt really odd, but I couldn't help but ask if I was supposed to put the seat up. Mag
