  1. When you travel as much as I do three capital letter other than something like SOL screams airport code and you quickly learn the codes, especially the weird ones that seem to make no sense like the code for Orchard Field Airport (ORD). You'd get shived Alexandria for suggesting that they are not "that Southern" or even worse, not real Virginians. A nurse draws blood and the in house lab processes it for whatever time the doctor orders the draw and test.

    Chapter 23

So Lizzie is going to try and bring up Brad's past? I thought there was an equal amount of dirt on her? Maybe it is time for mommy dearest to swim with the fishies.... And pretty sure "starvatious" isn't a word.

    Chapter 22

So I am completely lost..... We are pretty sure Zach went to VA, we just don't know why..... I am thinking Elizabeth had Trevor and Zach beat up and she lured Zach back to VA and is threatening him again somehow. Trevor was beat up for being weak. Maybe Wade decided it is time to off mommie dearest.

    Chapter 20

Hopefully Paul Fernandez is being introduced for a reason... maybe to save Darius in Afghanistan?

    Chapter 21

Hunh..... what do you suppose Zach was doing in Charlottesville, VA? Of course the flight wouldn't have gone from CHO to LAX since no way are there direct flights.... it would have hubbed through BNA or ATL or someplace like that, but I get the point. Happy Thanksgiving Arbour..... take the next few days off

    Chapter 19

To quote Dr. Fronkensteen from Young Frankenstein, "alive! It's alive!" Good to see an update. As to The Harker School.... ones shudders. Boy's Water Polo can't even beat Milpitas and there is no Boy's Lacrosse team? Who would send a child top such a barbaric place? Sacred Heart would be so much better. Have you even seen a finer looking bunch??
  7. Has anyone checked his front porch? Are there newspapers and milk bottles stacked out front? Maybe he lost it and now he's in that Tibetan monestary with Dom Luka on the mountain top with no scribes???

    Chapter 18

I really enjoyed this chapter and enjoyed the continuing development in the JJ character. I've always liked JJ and hope he continues as a narrator in future books. It is nice seeing a Schluter who can flirt with either sex. I can't tell where this is heading, but I'm going to predict that Buzz is a mole for Mommie Dearest

    Chapter 16

Why is I find the sex scenes boring and now all I want is the drama

    Chapter 15

Fun chapter, but I hope it is a beginning of many more salvos to be fired Elizabeth's way. Aren't there pics of her and a black man some place? That would set the Tidewaters a hummin'.
  11. I am sedriously hoping we are just at the beginning of Operation Get Ahead after we finish Operation Get Even.
  12. It isn't up to JJ to "drop charges" unless he claims to have lied, then he opens himself to liability both criminally and civilly. A more likely outcome is a lesser charge, a misdemeanor not requiring registration and a quiet dispensation; no time and unsupervised probation. There is no way anyone could have set up a drug test that fast and that isn't how drug testing works in NCAA institutions. The actual programs (football, volleyball, etc) have zero input into when they occur.

    Chapter 14

Great chapter. I've always been a JJ fan and I like him more and more. I hope we get to see more of him in subsequent books.

    Chapter 13

How fun was that..... I don't the AOC in the various places JJ & ME 'did it', but how beautiful is the allegation that her husband's alleged lover was really hers.
  15. If Arbour would willing to throw in a zombie, an emotive teen vampire and a couple of car chases using the expensive cars I think I could get him a development deal.....

    Chapter 11

Thanks for the quick turn. Lots of stuff starting to solidify. At this point I think it is time for Brad to reappear and use some of his shady contacts to get to Julius. A guy like Julius isn't smart enough to be discrete in spending his new found income stream. Maybe they substituted different blood for mine. PS they do urine tests for drug tests, not blood tests
  17. No, but Red Vines are!
  18. Bah...... Mr. Arbour admits to shameless exploitation of the old reputation system. I am sure only 20,000 or so are legit
  19. In the NCAA your first confirmed, positive drug test for a PED results in a one year loss of eligibility. It has nothing to do with the IOC and its rules or any of the NGBs in the U.S. since there is no jurisdiction. Before you get snarky you could check the facts. No athletic program schedules the random drug testing it is done by entities not beholden to the athletic department. Zach wasn't just tested, it was either a group of players or all the players as they were they when Zach arrived. At UCLA drug testing is done by the UCLA Olympic Analytical Laboratory which is the world’s largest World Anti-Doping Agency accredited sports drug-testing facility and the number one research institution in athletic doping. It was founded by Dr. Don Catlin, an IOC member and the leading expert in the world on athletic doping. His lab (he was still the head in 2003) would tell a program when they wanted to do random testing. The athletic programs don't arrange their own random tests. It would undermine the entire concept of random.
  20. You don't get kicked off a football team for flunking a drug test and people with money and influence can fix anything. How do people not get this still? A flunked drug test is appealable and it would be a field day for a top lawyer to take on this one. The drug test wasn't announced until after Will called Wade. Football teams don't arrange their own random drug tests, especially not at UCLA, and it could not be set up quickly on a Sunday. The lab that does the testing would have had to have it set up several days in advance. Karl Dorrell wouldn't even take a phone call from Elizabeth Danfield. She might be able to have Zach's roommate bribed (an easy enough thing for a lawyer who is appealing a drug test result to sniff out), but she would have zero influence into UCLA directly. If Zach had chosen UVA, maybe, not UCLA.
  21. Well now the plot is thicker than a dick in a Mark Arbour story......

    Chapter 10

So you kind of knew it had to be Mamma Danfield somewhere along the line. It isn't her personality to take defeat gracefully. I wonder what will happen if Wade bans her from seeing the grandkids and using the estate in VA. Turn her into personna non grata. Doesn't someone have evidence of illegal deals by her still?
  23. I am pretty sure Ryan knew already. It isn't a secret exactly about Zach & Will. They were together at the Bastille Day Party even if they weren't macking, I think a lot of people can add 2 +2. This is a gay forum, it ought to be HO HO HO.

    Chapter 9

Mark has his mojo back....... nuf' said.
  25. The ownership would be in a corporation or trust's name and the responsible person would be a lawyer or trustee for the entity. Will's name might not appear anyplace on paperwork. I am curious why Zach hanging up makes you think he is being "blackmailed". If anything I think he has gotten the word from someone that his "friendship" with Will is a threat to his career and football has always come first with Zach. If you go back to Flux Chapters 11 & 12 when Zach first broke up with Will over rumors of their relationship then Will knew that it was going to be hard to maintain the relationship through college and the NFL.
