From my first name, Supriya. I've had quite a few nicknames (irl) but last year a few close friends started caling me soup (more frequently then they used to) and it just caught on like wildfire. Now everyone seems to either call me that, or my actual name.

But, Meno! He looked awesome wearing crocs + socks! Like an actual stacking superhero. You can be so mean I really ought to start drinking more water. I only have 2-4 glasses a day D: My skin likes me, though. It's incredibly generous so i rarely get pimples or other blemishes. woot! Trooth. If you really want to use something, stick with hair mousse. Looks softer and much more touchable. My biggest pet peeve. ARE YOU THAT INCOMPETENT YOU CAN'T EVEN KEEP YOUR DAMN PANTS UP?! not impressed, dude. I'm not particularly trendy, i just can't wear mismatched clothes. I usually just go out in chucks, shorts/jeans, a T and jacket/hoodie. Or if it's a party i'll wear a dress and heels. And despite how unattractive flip-flops are (on some), they're still ideal for Summer since you can't go to the beach in shoes D: so i basically live in flip-flops during the summer.

Now, whenever i'm being a whiney teenager, i'm going to remember that guy.

My online persona pretty much holds true to how i am in real life. However a few minor things are different. I guess i'm more chipper online and also a tad more open, mostly due to the anonymity like you said. But also because i think for a lot of people, online communities can become escapist realities of sorts. Especially from the banality of day-to-day life. So i think it's fairly normal for people online to sometimes slightly exaggerate personality traits they already encompass. It's also all about selectivity and ommision; peoples' online personas are mere avatars of themselves created from the information they choose to relay. I think for some it's inherent to convey the traits you want people to see and hide the ones you dont. So no matter how 'true' you are, it's still a fabrication. But i guess that's sometimes the same in real life as well.

PS3! Not that i'm a huge gamer or anything...but we got our PS3 for free, and free stuff equates to automatic love. The only games i actually play are Grand Turismo, Grand Theft Auto, Tekken, Street Fighter and KULA WORLD! (the greatest game ever! ) but i've never played anything on Xbox so i can't really contribute to this debate anyway

Messy. So messy. My clothes shift from my bed when i'm awake, to my chair when i need to sleep. Everything else just tends to accumulate on my desk until it looks mountainous. I'd like to say it's an organised mess but it rarely is. Trying to find something consists of just rearranging the mess. I have to clean it up every couple of days, though. Otherwise things start sliding off the mountains of miscellaneous objects.

I also went and checked out Telepopmusik and Zero 7 like you suggested. From the few songs i've heard i think i'm going to lurrrvvveee Telepopmusik but i've yet to get an album. Thanks. Although i couldn't really get into Zero 7, probably because the vocals are too strong on the tracks where Sia sings. I recognise her voice so it makes me feel like i'm listening to her not Zero 7 if that makes any sense? but i really liked the song 'Polaris' and some of the other tracks that had different artists singing.

You destroyed my brain! i spent like an hour (more) thinking about this while writing my essay (read: staring at a blank document) and now every half an hour i feel some sort of gravitational pull towards youtube. (full stop) Okay i lie, there are more people but i adore him. i want to paint my walls with his musical brain babies. I don't think enough people appreciate the brilliance that is Sunset Rubdown. He's also part of Wolf Parade and Swan Lake (which sounds like a cross between Animal Collective and Sunset Rubdown) but they're nothing compared to Sunset Rubdown. Jonsi. I prefer his work with Sigur Ros more than his solo album but either way he's a genius and oh my god *sigurroseargasm* (auditorygasm?) Owen Pallett (aka Final Fantasy). Plays the violin, sings, makes weird screaming noises randomly... but still. Does awesome covers as well. Patrick Wolf. Okay, not my absolute favourite but he's a pretty damn impressive musician. He can play more than 10 instruments (if i remember correctly), started off as a street performer, taught himself everything and he's an amazing live performer + Owen pallett did a few concerts with him. Efrim Menuck from Thee Silver Mt Zion Memorial Orchestra and Godspeed You! Black Emperor. So they're incredibly depressing bands and i know why it's not everyones cup of tea but somehow TSMZ has grown on me. I like how all his songs are about real things like war, death and basically the deterioration of society and the world because of modern day urbanization and war + random things like his dog dying.
