  1. Yeah, i'm one of 'THOSE people' as you say. My phone is always with me. I don't see a huge problem though. Sure, it can sometimes be a little annoying seeing everyone becoming more and more self absorbed, but it's just the age we live in. If i want to stay up to date with what's going on in the lives of all my friendlies or plans for when we're going out, then it's either: use a phone or get facebook. I decided to stick with just the phone and i can confidently say that i don't check it nearly as often as some of my friends check their facebooks. I go to a school where students bring their laptops to most lessons (what happened to pen and paper? gosh!) and if a teacher were to stand at the back of the class they'd see more than half the students on facebook. It's probably why i don't see the big deal in just sending a quick little text during class when people all around me are having whole conversations with each other over FB chat XD A phone is the lesser of two evils, imho. Then again, i'm being a bit of a hypocrite i do plan on getting a FB after school ends. I can't keep in touch with all my friends over the phone.

*slowly backs away* .... You guys are so cute, Have Fun! XD
  3. If i have time to cook i'll make my own pizza, but if i'm lazy/busy my brother just picks up some Dominos. We always get thin crust though, so i guess it's the topping that makes it.
  4. Nephy's right. Your eyes are amazing, Jay.

  6. How is there even a comparasin?? HARRY POTTER! But to be fair i haven't even watched Twilight. I really really tried to read the books and i made it till half way through the fourth but it was just SO shit. I wouldn't pay to go watch that movie, and i have no great desire to go download it. People keep ruining the classic elements of the vampire archetype. They even used to be scary! Okay, not really, but still...I'm a Bram Stoker/Anne Rice fan.
  7. Purple, Green and if we're talkin shades, then Black.
  8. I remember liking the Horrible Histories cartoon, The Magic School Bus, Captain Planet and Popeye. Learnt: history, science, must save world, must eat spinach

    Hi Folks

Hey Louis, Welcome to GA! you might like to also introduce yourself in the New Member Welcome thread. You need 5 posts to help unlock certain sections of the site (such as Chat) so that'll probably help.

    Dirty poll #9

I'm not, but I have a friend who happens to be a furry. He also recently had a dream where his little rubber ducky transformed into a giant, furry, yellow rubber duck with boobs that tried to rape him while he was in the bathtub O.O Although he prefers the term "anthropomorphic cosplay"
  11. Death Note is pretty good (read: really f**king brilliant). Only Anime i've ever gotten completely sucked into. No 'gay stuff' though Edit: The show has an insanely large fanbase so the entire series has also been dubbed in English. If you're interested, I found a site with the entire series in english. I prefer the subtitles though. More accurate.
  12. Not my favourite music video...but it's interesting and i thought it was kinda funny. Warning: Birds getting high on magic berries, racoons pooping pool balls, cat pinatas and unicorns having smex.
  13. Just two. I like my space.
  14. Happy Birthday!!!
  15. I did both initial tests...AHAHAHA! damn i'm worse than i thought . I think i'll stick with it though, it seems pretty reasonable. Thanks for the suggestion, Thomas. I think it's actually doable. Does anyone else want to try the challenge? It'd be interesting to see how many of us can actually do the 100 pushups and 200 crunches in 6 weeks I'm not sure i'd be much competition but we can still motivate each other, Ken. As for the pictures, i'll think about it. First i'll have to see how well i even do in a month.
  16. My eating habits and fitness are generally just really bad. I'm the average weight for someone my age, but my cardio is absolutely pitiful and it seems like everyone in my life is trying to get me to gain more weight, what with my dad's insanely yummy cooking, and my friends always buying me fast food i don't need but end up eating anyway. I used to exercise last year and the year before + every summer i do quite a bit because i'm outdoors a lot, but i've done nothing this year using school as an excuse . So i've gained a few unwanted kilos that i want to shed by summer. Oh yeah, BEACH! I vote we start a new 1 month challenge. Either way, i'm starting my own today. Goals: - No more chocolate or fast food - STOP SNACKING!!! - Drink more water + eat more fruits - Go for a jog a few times a weeks and start doing crunches again. hahaha noooooooooooo! now i have to actually go do those things
  17. Happy Birthday
  18. I'm no hater and i guess the fact that it looks so realistic, now that i know it's a fictional artistic project, reincarnates the WOW factor.
  19. Hahaha damn. I am wrong sorry. I heard it from my brother's friend and i didn't believe it at first so i looked on the net but i was just skimming the site and i read "...the top does stop spinning after the credits and Cobb is at last in the real world..." but i read it out of context *feels like an idiot*
  20. Edit: Oops. I was wrong, Haha sorry Mr Meno!
  21. Favourites in no order: SNATCH, Shaun Of The Dead, Memento, Pan's Labyrinth, Closer, Inception (as of last Friday), The Prestige, Jeux d'enfants, Dogma, Mysterious Skin, The Matrix (first only), Fight Club, Requiem For A Dream, The Godfather (first only), Wall-E I've probably forgotten something. Other movies i've watched recently that i thought were pretty good: Kick Ass, Orphan and Elizabeth (the 1998 one)
  22. A few people don't seem to know this, so i'm going to spoil the brilliant ambiguous ending by telling you all that after the credits finish rolling the totem actually stops spinning, hence he wasn't in the dream world, he'd come back to reality
  23. Happy Birthday, Cia!!! (<-- pretend that's a party hat)
  24. Hahaha the truth ruined the WOW factor
  25. I've watched quite a few, including some that have already been mentioned; L.I.E, Beautiful Thing, Latter Days, Brokeback Mountain etc. Mysterious Skin (2004) would be a favourite. Others that i've liked include: The Talented Mr Ripley (1999) - okay, so it's not really gay themed, but still...it's a minor aspect. Juste une question d'amour [Just A Question Of Love] (2000) Sommersturm [summer Storm] (2004) Les chansons d'amour [Love Songs] (2007) - Film Musical Milk (2008)
