I just hope the tension I've built up to this chapter is not ruined by what happens in the next. Also, thank you! As this reply refers to plot, there will be spoilers ahead so be warned: I agree that Ho's presence or absence was not explained clearly enough in this chapter. However, it is hinted at a scene in the next one. Whether the conclusion can be derived from the particular scene I'm referring to is obvious or not is subjective. But having read the scene again just now, it seems that it may not be obvious enough after all (I'll see if I can edit it more before next Monday). It can be open to many interpretations. However, obvious or not, it is not too relevant until the sequel anyway. Since the sequel will likely be some time from now (if I do get around to writing it which hopefully I will), I'll give you the answer since I might not be able to incorporate it A:TSW. We know Jacob is back. We can't say that Ho-o should be back too because in truth, she never left. What happened to her though is still a mystery to Adam. The last time she tried to reach out to him, all she could get through was apparently one word, one word that seemed to take a considerable amount of effort (and perhaps pain) to communicate. Although it is in her best interest to help him, it appears that something or someone is preventing her from doing so. Based on what's been revealed (and of course what I know to be the plot), there are only two characters capable of doing something like that - Lord Raezhul and Jacob.

CHAPTER 34: The Northern Army I spent a few more hours in the infirmary. Several other Aerophalanxes were brought in with varying injuries, none of which looked life threatening. Sharing your interest would be great. But, I'd settle for understanding and accepting.

I sort of have the same opinion. I like stories that can can resolve issues without dragging them out too long. I think the longest series I've read here on GA was nine books. There were more books after that, but I just stopped because it just felt like it was dragging on at that point. Things unresolved in the first few books were still unresolved by the ninth. I do like books that revolve around one universe though. I mean I like reading familiar settings told from a different perspective (examples would be Dom's The Long Way and In the Fishbowl, also David McLeod's stories). It's pleasingly familiar yet fresh. Doesn't mean I won't read singles though. I've read more singles than series but it's the series than tend to stick more in my mind I'd say.

Aside from the time line, do you think it would be possible to create an atlas of characters? The sheer number of characters can get confusing at times. I'm not sure if I've met them in an earlier story or a later one (as I did not read most of the stories in sequence).

Haha. Unfortunately, I can't answer any of those questions. >.< As I recall though many months ago ago, I had mentioned the latter part of Adamagika having a lot of cliffhangers. Fair warning, it will only get worse. So you better better include a scepter and orb with that crown. Hehehe.

Thanks Mister10. I will definitely try my best to make sure that I don't go away and even keep a schedule hehe. I got really busy a few months back with rotations in work and I thought that it spelled the end of my writing experience. I'm back now (though still quite busy hehe).

Well good, because I myself am getting confused by the plot having to go back and remember if I wrote something or removed it at a later date. Haha. There are only eight more chapters remaining plus the Epilogue.

I'd like to thank you for writing this story. I quite enjoyed it and felt sad that it had to end. Although the lengthy descriptions of some things may not be for everyone, the story was well worth the time invested to read it. I'd definitely recommend this to those who want a twist on a medieval/fantasy world. I hope the sequel is coming soon. I can't wait to find out what destiny has in store for George and his crew.

I was about to say "There is a lot to like about GA... but here are some thing that could be improved" would have been a better title. I think the OP has gotten that though. Something you'll definitely notice here in GA is that the community in it are loyal to the site, myself included. I've read many stories from Nifty and Awesomedude (a few scattered in other sites) but for the most part i don't feel attached to them. After I've downloaded the story, the relationship just ends there. Here, it's different. I'm curious what other people are up. I'm happy for people that find reasons to celebrate things. As distant as I can be living thousands of miles away and interacting only through a computer under a pseudonym, I can't help but feel that to some extent I care. More important than that perhaps is that the other people here also care.

On the bright side, if you eventually broke up, you could easily cut off his balls...

Yes, especially since I myself am not afraid to kill of my main characters. However, it's much more difficult for me to read on when I know it has a tragic ending. By this, I mean for example that the bad guy gets away, or the characters died for nothing, the issue wasn't resolve. The ending can be sad... but I want it to be happy at the same time. Know what I mean?

CHAPTER 32: Odd Ways of Communicating That was it. My growing anxiety over what happened to Jacob tripled after that dream. Something was terribly wrong with Jacob. I just knew it.
