  1. The backgrounds reminds me of the cafeteria. *shudders at the thought*
  2. Hi tdb! Can I call you that? You're name's just way too long hehe. Welcome to GA and I hope you have fun here. Just make sure your mom doesn't find out unless she's the really open type.
  3. Well, look at that... the results show that every single person who participated in the poll with an Author status voted for crust... Haha. Wonder if that means anything.
  4. That reminded me of this article I saw just yesterday in wikipedia. I think it was under the article for "Male" or "Man". Someone had written something like "MeN ArE ThE MoSt AwEsOmE SeX iN ThE WhOLe WoRLd" (Yes, I know there's something wrong with the sentence construction). I wish I took a screenshot though cause I just checked it now and it looks like they fixed it already hehe.
  5. I agree. English for me is a second language although I always try my best to make sure I get all the rules of the language down. However, it can be difficult because you were raised with a different set of language rules to follow. Take what happened in the Ms. Universe contest with Ms. Philippines. In the local language of the Philippines, it's not uncommon to repeat a word to emphasize it. Ang laki-laki nito is literally translated as This is big big. Of course, we know that's wrong but sometimes the meaning cannot be directly derived from the direct translation. However, if you want to start writing, you have to start somewhere. If they make mistakes, we should point them out gently like good parents. Baby steps. Don't be like Candy and her gay agenda. The Log Way anyone? Imagine how much better it could be corrected.
  6. this is the last time that I'm ever gonna come here tonight this is the last time - I will fall into a place that fails us all - inside I can see the pain in you I can see the love in you but fighting all the demons will take time it will take time the angels they burn inside for us are we ever are we ever gonna learn to fly the devils they burn inside of us are we ever gonna come back down come around I'm always gonna worry about the things that could make us cold this is the last time that I'm ever gonna give in tonight are there angels or devils crawling here? I just want to know what blurs and what is clear - to see still I can see the pain in you and I can see the love in you and fighting all the demons will take time it will take time the angels they burn inside for us are we ever are we ever gonna learn to fly the devils they burn inside of us are we ever gonna come back down - come around I'm always gonna worry about the things that could break us if I was to give in - give it up - and then take a breath - make it deep cause it might be the last one you get be the last one that could make us cold you know that they could make us cold I'm always gonna worry about the things that could make us cold
  7. By "Crust", I take it that you mean the dough because otherwise you're only referring to the edge of the pizza (and nothing in between). If you are referring to the dough, then that's my vote. I love bread. The toppings and everything else are added bonuses.
  8. See, you must have a double king size bed to fit all that. It's probably two layers too! Hehe. That Cheetah sounds a little wild.
  9. Oh, I just came across his name. I remember him in the movie jumper but didn't know what his name was then. He probably looks a lot older now than this pic (I think anyway). he looks a lot younger here than when I first saw him, but unfortunately this was one of the few photos the board would allow me to attach.
  10. That's a BIIIIIG signature. Aside from that, welcome to GA and I hope you enjoy it here.
  11. Belated Happy Birthday! *brings out his gorilla outfit*
  12. Don't think this weird but I'd say Sandra Bullock. I think Miss Congeniality really swayed me to her haha. Or Taylor Swift. If you mean same sex, no particular person comes to mind (or maybe I just don't remember their names). I suppose anyone with a "boy next door" look. NOTE: I tried including some pics, but for whatever reason, the site won't let me. Aah well.
  13. Honestly, I wouldn't mind if there was no sex scene at all in the story. We have porn for that. I don't need that stuff in what I read.
  14. I have read all the Harry Potter books and watched all the released movies. I haven't read any of the Twilight books nor watched any of the released movies. So... I don't think I can be a fair judge about it but I'm going to say it anyway. Harry Potter > Twilight On a side note, I agree with the poster above (whoever it was) who ranted against people that complained about "so and so scene" not being in the movie (though I must admit I was guilty for doing that with the Percy Jackson movie). Most movie goers are never truly happy with book to movie adaptations. They'll always find something to complain about. See for example how many people complain about WB splitting the last HP film into two (it's a money making scam most say). Come on seriously! They're going to get to watch more movie scenes from a book they liked (maybe even loved) and they're complaining about the cost of an extra movie ticket. I bet a lot of these people complaining about the two movies also complained about how "so and so scene" was deleted. Go figure.
  15. I don't think our lcoal itunes really supports podcasts haha. I just love getting the "This feature is not available in your country" message. I'll look into the recommended songs though as soon as I can.
  16. If you can shop for boyfriends at the local mall you're at, then yes, they count as pillows.
  17. Welcome... that is a disturbingly funny picture you have there. Haha.
  18. So I came across this site asking how many pillows is too many pillows. I realized after reading it that I have seven pillows on my bed. How many do you have?
  19. Ok, so I have like 500+ songs on my ipod and I realized that I'm completely bored with them now. I often find myself scrolling through many songs just to find one that I remotely like as I exercise in the gym. In the long run, it's counterproductive. Anyone have any recommendations on good songs I could listen to? I figure these would have to be upbeat (definitely no acoustic songs, this ain't a spa!). I'm thinking club music or pop music fused with club beats. Isn't that supposed to get the blood pumping? Any recommendations? I'd appreciate it if you could include a youtube link or something so I can listen to it.
  20. I say we just all call them rocks. I mean when they eventually collide with our planet, would you really care what it's called?
  21. Happy Birthday you big ol' softy!
  22. Surprisingly, with the exception of Eenie Meenie (I think that's the title), I've hardly heard any Justin Bieber song. I just pick on him on principle.
  23. *waiting for the next big thing*
