🎊 Maynor subdued, what a gift to the Realms. With the vast powers of the Kieran / Ranevargar partnership, each with justification to terminate the maggot, the restraint and then the extended protections speaks of high honor and respect to process; a very impressive partnership indeed.

I hope you’re able to get back to this story soon; it’s too good to let it die here. Thanks for sharing this tale and remember even smaller installments can still move it forward without the full burden of the story chapter. 😁

Lol, this is why texting is so convoluted, what is the context and true meaning. Though this is not a text we have as a group expressed many opinions as to what the author really meant. It reminds me of the book reviews and English lessons that taught the meaning of famous works, yet even with an interview declaration from the author, it did not convince scholars of the meaning of his work...hmmm. My opinion from the context of the whole relationship gave me no cause for concern; they’ve spoken of nothing but love founded in a glorious mutual attraction that developed rapidly into established common interest. I find this be be a wonderfully reflective story of college aged love; not unlike my own, we had lots of sex, but I didn’t take the hand, I didn’t accept myself, and I lost perhaps what was my soulmate. We still stay in touch but we both wonder what would have been, what I now know should have been. I wish I had taken his hand, I wish I had proclaimed my love, I wish we had claimed each other, in the truest sense of love.

Poor Kohen, waiting to be violated again, forced to violate his family of friends and loved ones too. Lakshou needs to be castrated of his horns and abilities, then perhaps released into Kohen’s hands and maybe a chew toy for Chomper!

What a great storyline and wonderfully delivery. To me, this storyline addresses many of the complications of attraction. Brian was denied full disclosure of the pending employment conflicts; though I don’t really believe it to be malicious. While Jonah realized the apparent common employer, I believe his age, background, and experience lead him to perceive it differently than perhaps someone a little older may; but not totally surprising from my experience as a supervisor to youthful employees. I refrain from calling it maturity as that stereotype often seems to imply an immaturity applies across all abilities and intellect the person may demonstrate; as Brian observed and states that he believes Jonah to be very smart. Sometimes a painful void or loneliness breeds a neglected social independence and confidence. I believe Jonah still craves a protective provider relationship he may have been denied in developing years, but he also needs the physical love, encouragement, and reward of a loving physical relationship. Brian is a bonus, all-in-one protector, provider, lover, and mentor. I believe it’s well beyond the initial attraction and lustful gratification they initially enjoyed. They quickly established comfort and shared interest. Brian seems to want to help as much from compassion as his does from growing love. Jonah appears to have a checked history in home life; no parents, still wanting and needing support from foster parents or anyone; more than money me thinks, as he says I have no one. It seems the needs of one answers the need of the other; perhaps amplifying the attraction and comfort they find in their relationship.

My personal opinion says no. Given the techno and app driven environments of the present, these guys have exceeded all expectations of real quality time; hours and hours of face time ( without iPhones or apple 🍏 devices), so giving credit where it truly is due they haven’t rushed at all. Sex doesn’t imply nor secure a lifetime commitment of a relationship, nor does getting to know each other better before having sex help insure a satisfactory sex drive or performance. The old fashioned abstinence until marriage insures nothing but surprises that are not always good. But that’s just my informed opinion. 🤷‍♂️

Perspective, too many variables as we are standing on the shifting sands of the hourglasses. Ranevargar is processing 600 years of locked away memories and abilities; will this change the perspective of himself, and perhaps more importantly at this juncture, his perspective of the High King Aglaron? His respect of the King could be challenged when his regained knowledge reveals paths and/or aid the King may have had all along but refused Ranevargar. Likewise, Ranevargar has thus far coached Kieran as a friend and fellow lord, in recognition of his stone and talents, but with renewed health, abilities, and now his all powerful construct, will perspectives remain true toward that relationship and their allegiances. Kieran and his companions have stayed the course and have been true to themselves and all alliances. But now, at this critical time of the High King Aglaron’s need, he is to be judged from the human perspective; of Subjects of the Realm unknowingly banished to the human realm and manipulated by the High King and High Council. If and when Kieran is returned to Keryth, will his perspectives as a son betrayed be forgiveness or of rage for him and his friends? Rhys’ Healing Hands have physically renewed Ranevargar, Maurice, and all others so touched, but why does the healings not reveal Keryth as Elf? Ranevargar’s memories were locked away and not restored by healings, does this mean Kieran’s memories are not locked within but stored elsewhere? Will his full memories be restored and to where might they draw him? Gate Realm? Maurice’s Realm? Human Realm? Will the High King Aglaron survive this battle for the Realms? If he should be saved from personal disaster, will he be allowed to remain King with so much to answer for? Can he atone for his failures as a father and as King?

Patience my man! 🤭 I know the feeling and agree with you that it is so surprising, but I attribute some of those delays in the comments to be time for thoughtful reflection of the updates. 🤔 This story and it’s creator are amazing and have my appreciation for the joy they bring.

As CIA gives us the Centennial chapter of Denied, the celebratory chapter also ironically gives us the true Sentinels of the crew, new and old, but perhaps more prepared and coordinated in tasks. However, being preparing for the unexpected is a very, very difficult task when the unexpected is coming from within; hopefully this will end the treachery of Lakshou. Captain, it seems, has tried to protect them by keeping the trap known to only a minimal few. Now hopefully the bond Captain, Kohen, and Chomper have will serve absolute and put an end to the power and manipulations of a traitorous basta&#....No, no, no. Bite, bite. Bad man. Bad man!

With Kieran’s mutual aid agreement partially fulfilled, Kieran still sees the remaining obligation to Ranevargar as paramount. Ranevargar stated the case and need to prevent the fall of the High Castle defenses, and of protecting the High King for the security of the Realms, but Kieran only knows of betrayal to himself and the companions. Kieran and Ranevargar lack contact with lords other than Maynor since learning of the challenge to the king and of realm rule. The.High King is “believed” to be honorable and loyal to the Realms but he allowed Maynor’s deceit to compromise his integrity; with his own son no less. Was/Is his desire for Keryth to be Non-widderkin forgivable, or is it an indicator of his willingness to compromise himself and others to retain absolute rule. Maynor will be launching his brutal attack on the High Castle soon. Kieran will either bear witness to his fall or empower him with aid beyond justification. The energy flows alone should highlight the dangers to realm order but will, and should, aid be given before the High King suffers the binding of his mind and the assault on nexus controls? Will Kieran be able to protect the Realm if he himself is under attack from those whom should be worth of trust? Kieran needs his full memory and awareness to stand in judgement of the king, as his father and a king, and of others within the Realms, but at what cost to himself and the companions. The companions are amazingly resilient, but timing is critical; for the king, for Ranevargar, and for the Realms. With Ranevargar “Rhys.renewed,” will his ambitions of the past compromise his integrity of today? If such conflict arises, will Maurice concede to the maker or stay true to his realm? Will Maurice be capable, or capable of evolving, to subjective deliberations of the greater good for the Realms/Worlds? Will the High King seek the same renewal? at any costs? Was the right of Keryth’s succession the real cause of the King’s deceit?

Given that environment, it makes those restraint “growths” all the more exciting. 🤗

Hmmm, where were we? Ranevargar is still less than whole now, but has recovered much he lost in his overextended efforts to secure Maurice in stasis. With the return of much of his long lost memories and lordly knowledge from Maurice, Ranevargar has much more confidence in facing Maynor. Yet Ranevargar and other lords of the Realms still remain perplexed with much of Kieran’s abilities to call upon and weave the nexus energies; with a stone yet unknown to them. From within the ancient castle fortress of the dead realm, Kieran calls upon the Pearl, then calls upon the Opal; calls falling short of the vast energies required to animate Maurice. So Kieran calls again, to double his efforts, with those calls Kieran has to step up his mastery of weaving power to restore Maurice’s powers. It appears the Opal recognized its home and the high calls of Kieran; the call is answered but not before the big reorganization and rebalancing of the nexus which now yields a purer nexus energy. The high king and lords now bear witness to the return of nexus purity elusive to all but the ancients; times when the adepts created the Realms and Realm Stones. Powers lost and mostly all but forgotten. To heal and restore Maurice’s functionality in time to rescue Ranevargar before the manic Maynor can apply forces sure to break him, Kieran must call again for power. The calls answered, but not without Kieran bringing forth an insistent call for energies; getting that not of the Pearl, not of the Opal, not of the nexus either, but of the realms? It appears Kieran and the companions have been found worthy and pure guardian Angeles of the Realms.

Well now, Steve Miller would be so proud..."Well met, my pompatus Guardian. My heart rejoices with your safe recovery." What a wonderful application of the only single word capable of defining MAURICE!

While I knew your story was new to me, I actually forgot it was was your only story on GA. Now you profess it to be your only published or shared work; bravo. The ability to take thoughts and emotions of the heart, put them into words in such a way as to have others adopt the characters and their emotions as real, is a huge credit to your writing skills. I wish we could understand the equivalent maturity of Chomper in his development, but it seems all concerned are learning by observation. The blend of human / alien dragon instincts are sure to provide some unexpected “entertainment” again soon!

Love Is a Many-Splintered Thing!

Aiden is honorable enough to feel betrayed himself, and knows the honorable thing for Heath is to expose the toad and their company for what it is and what they’ve done. But then the shame... this means (in Aiden’s mind): Heath was really correct and Aiden really wasn’t getting a promotion, Aiden wouldn’t let himself see or believe many truths as he blindly pursued that promotion carrot 🥕; he really is a failure and the one person he’s learned to love has now been ruined by his own actions. Bad, bad, bunny! Such shame and humiliation...ring the bell and leave...Heath is better without him. I have faith in Heath and his methods to release that information and use the support given by Aiden; this will expose the Toad and the Health Shakers while exonerating not only Heath but Aiden as a whistle blower to a deceptive management, and most likely company; contracts be damned, as the misrepresentation in itself has breached any legal binding agreement and risked the health of many by such greed. Heath has to act fast, Aiden has a running start but is now about to be swept away by the tidal surges he is now partly responsible for, within the health drink market and emotionally with his ex-boyfriend; he didn’t chose the company over Heath.! Heath will have to be quick as the bunny runs wild, in his own panic driven circle ⭕️, in disparate need of claiming....ahem...calming.
